Enjoy dates with various benefits
Yesterday my co-teacher where I taught brought some date seeds and I tasted them too. If you remember dates, you must remember a holy month for Muslims, namely the month of Ramadan. Because every time the month of Ramadan comes, we can find date traders everywhere. And when it's not the month of Ramadan and those who sell dates are few and only in special places such as special pharmacies selling various kinds of herbal medicines, sellers of equipment for Hajj, prayer, etc.

Benefits of dates
Dates have many types and of course they have different properties too. There are about 10 types of dates. In Indonesia there are several dates that are often consumed, including :
1. Palm fruit dates
Actually, these palm fruit dates are also of the same type as honey Tunisian dates. It's just that the texture of these dates is much drier. Usually also offered still with the stem. These dates are much larger in size and thicker flesh.
Benefits of Tunisian Dates Palm Fruit stalks Contains 5 times more Potassium than bananas Withstands bad cholesterol due to its sodium content High Nutritious Fruit Restores a Weak Body Expedites the Process of Birth and childbirth Instant energy booster The best Sugar Substitute.
2. Safavid dates
Safavid dates are one of the best types of dates which are second only to Ajwa dates. This Middle Eastern date has an oval shape with a dark to black color and wrinkled skin.
The health benefits of safawi dates include high mineral content and a variety of vitamins. Even these dates can be used as a natural remedy for intestinal worms. The fiber content is also high, and it has high levels of vitamins A and B so it is good for the eyes, hair and skin.
3. Ajwa Dates
Ajwa dates are called the first dates cultivated by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This is what then makes ajwa dates also known as prophet dates. After being planted by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the Ajwa date began to be cultivated in almost all of Arabia.
4. Dates sukari
The sukari date is a type of premium date that is widely cultivated in Iraq and Saudi Arabia. The word sukari itself comes from the Arabic "sukkar" which means sugar. This date is more yellow than the other variants and has a sweeter taste. Sukari dates are classified as laxative foods, which can overcome the problem of constipation or difficulty defecating. This is because the sukari dates are high in natural fiber, which can nourish the intestines and the digestive system as a whole. It was this type of dates that I ate yesterday.
5. Young dates
This type of date is also much sought after, especially married couples who do not have children because young dates are believed to increase fertility. Young yellow dates are rich in iron, fiber and antioxidants which are beneficial for fertility. Young dates are widely used as an alternative medicine in pregnant programs. Not only beneficial for female fertility, young dates can also improve sperm quality in men.
Young dates themselves are fresh dates that are not yet ripe, so they are not as sweet as ripe dates and are blackish brown in color.
I tasted dates when my Aunt from Kuwait bring it home for us 😊 But it was coated already in chocolates. Hehe.
