You Are What You Eat
The food we eat provides our body with "information" and materials they need to work properly. If we don't get the right information, our metabolic processes are affected and our health falls. If we get too much food, or the food that misdirects our body, we may be at risk of being overweight, undernourished, and diseases and conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, and heart disease.
You need protein in your diet to help repair and rejuvenate your body cells. Protein is also important for growth and development in children, adolescents and pregnant women. Foods with proteins during digestion break down into parts called amino acids. The human body needs a lot of amino acids to maintain good health. Amino acids are found in animal sources such as meat, milk, fish and eggs. They are also found in plant sources such as soya, beans, beans, nut-butter and some grains (such as wheat germs and quinoa You don't need to eat animal products to get protein you need in your diet.
As part of a diverse diet, eating enough nutrients is essential for the health and functioning of all cells, including immune cells. Some food samples can make the body better for microbial attacks and extra inflammation, but it is unlikely that individual foods will provide special protection. Each stage of the body's immune response depends on the presence of many nutrients. Examples of these nutrients which are identified as important for the growth and functioning of immune cells include vitamin c, vitamin d, zinc, selenium, iron, and protein (including amino acid glutamine). They are found in different types of plant and animal food.
Perhaps the most popular antioxidant, vitamin c offers a wide variety of health benefits. These benefits include protecting your body from infection and damage to body cells, helping to produce collagen (connective tissue that keeps bones and muscles together) and helping absorb iron To benefit from these benefits, eat vitamin c-rich foods such as lemon fruit (including orange, grapefruit and tangerine), strawberry, sweet pepper, tomato, broccoli and potato.
Food is important for life. To stay healthy and active, we must definitely have enough food. But the foods we eat must also be safe and full of all the nutrients our body needs. We should choose from different kinds of foods and we should eat them regularly, throughout the day, every day of the year. Do not forget that we should also enjoy the food we eat. It should be good to see, smell and taste. Without good nutrition, children and young people cannot fully develop their abilities, and adults will have to do their best.
