Insomnia is a common sleep disorder that can make it difficult to sleep, difficult to sleep, or cause you to wake up too early and not sleep again and if you feel tired when you wake up. Insomnia can not only damage your energy level and mood but also your health, work performance and quality of life.

The condition may be short-term (severe) or may last longer (chronic). It can also come and go. Severe insomnia lasts from 1 night to a few weeks. Insomnia is chronic when it occurs at least 5 nights a week for 4 months or more. 

Enough sleep plays an important role in the health of internal organs. Not taking the sleep you need on a regular basis can have a huge impact on mental and physical health, not to mention the quality of life. Approximately two-thirds of adults report symptoms of insomnia. Symptoms are so severe in adults from 7 to 10 percent that they meet the diagnostic criteria for insomnia disorders.

Causes

Several medical specialty conditions, like depression, attention deficit upset disorder, and post traumatic stress disorder trigger  sleeping cycles and insomnia can even enhance or increase your risk of heart disease and mood behaviour.

Dietary habits, such as eating too much food when you sleep, or consuming too much caffeine or alcohol. 

Many prescription drugs can disrupt sleep, including antidepressants, stimulants for adhd, corticosteroids, thyroid hormones, high blood pressure medications, and some contraceptive drugs.

Difficulty in sleeping is Associate in Nursing initiative of various symptoms like stress, depression and these symptoms worsen at intervals time.Other common emotional and psychological causes embody anger, worry, grief, manic depressive illness, and trauma. To beat your sleep disorder, these basic issues should be addressed .

Treatment 

Lifestyle changes, including good sleeping habits, often help relieve severe (short-term) insomnia. These changes can make it easier for you to sleep and sleep. A type of counseling known as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can help relieve chronic (ongoing) insomnia linked disorder. Different medications can also help relieve insomnia and allow you to re-establish a regular sleep cycle. But make sure first you must solve the root cause of your insomnia, no matter what.

Weight loss 

Studies show that people who sleep less than 7 hours a day are overweight and have a higher risk of obesity than those who sleep 6 to 7 hours. It is believed because sleep-deprived people have reduced levels of leptin (chemicals that make you feel stomach filling) and increased levels of ghrelin (a hunger stimulating hormone).

No Diabetes 

The study found that people who usually sleep less than 6 hours a night have an increased risk of diabetes. It seems that by not taking a deep sleep, the body can have type 2 diabetes, which the body USES for energy.
