A Better Way To Take Care of Our Mental Health: Intellect App Review

We need a healthy mind to be able to survive our daily lives but there are instances that we lost control over it and ended up having a bad day. Well, it is normal but if it happens constantly and stresses us out; it's a different story.

We need to properly condition our mental health or else we will just ruin everything we worked hard. Mental health also affects our emotional health and vice versa, if so happens that one falls, either way, one gets along with it. This collision will, later on, affect our daily lives until we get to the point that living in this world doesn't matter anymore.

However, what if there is someone to whom you are responsible? What if you have an important obligation to do? What do you think will happen to those people who are depending on you? Will you just let them suffer because you didn't take care of yourself?

If you don't want that to happen, I'm going to introduce this application to you.

The Intellect App

This is called ”Intellect". You can download it on the Play Store for free. This app can help us take care of our mental health. It is like having a session with a psychologist. You will have to answer the question honestly, first. Then, it will analyze your results and give you accurate reasons why are those happening to you. It will also give you advice on which areas of your life that you need to improve. Like social, romance, professionalism, self-esteem, etc.

Things You Can Do In This App

After you have answered the first survey regarding the condition of yourself, you will be given sessions that can be done in 5 to 10 minutes every day. It is no hassle, right? Aside from sessions, you can also do;

  • Journals. You can write here anytime you check-in. You can write whatever you want, like how you feel right now or what happened to your day. If you don't know how to write journals properly there is also an article there that will guide you on how to do so.

  • There are various topics which you can choose. Just click on them and begin your sessions. It will teach you how to deal with this kind of stuff so you can lift your mood.

It is nice to have sessions here if you are feeling down and have no one to talk to. There are audio clips included in every session, in case you want to feel like you are in a real session with a psychologist. You can read it by the script while listening to the audio if you can hear it clearly or you can not catch up to the speaker.

There is also a field in which you can view your progress like how many days you are logging in, the total number of sessions you have completed, and the total number of experiments you have fulfilled.

You can view your progress in those specified aspects also like strengths and weaknesses, romance, social life, and career.

Strong emotions and sharp minds are essential especially in a time like this. In this time of pandemic which is exhausting and over-stressing us all due to sudden falls of our lifestyle. Plus, the discriminations around us of those judgemental neighbors or relatives.

Ignoring them is the best method we can do to protect ourselves also. Let them say what they want. You know yourself better than them. You know you can and you know you have the strength to do it. Well then, don't let them ruin your day and continue doing your priorities.
