Chemicals of happiness!!

I think in my two or three articles I have mentioned a lil bit about the four chemicals that I'm going to describe today. Before coming to this platform, I had no knowledge of these chemicals at all. I have learned a lot from searching since I started writing articles here. So it would not be wrong to say that my knowledge has increased a lot. You may have also heard of these chemicals/hormones from somewhere. Okay guys let's discuss about the four chemicals.

  • Dopamine

  • Endorphins

  • Oxytocin

  • Serotonin

Dopamine chemical:

Basically dopamine chemical is neurotransmitter and also known as "reward chemical." And dopamine is made in our brain. This chemical include reward, pleasure, motivation, memories, happiness. We can produce this chemical in our brain in different ways. For example, if we are getting surge in listening to a song it will be a chemical release. We need to keep ourselves happy so that this chemical inside us as much as possible like;

  • Eating rich and healthy food

  • Exercise daily

  • Treat yourself in better way

  • Watch movies and Listening songs

  • And most importantly, help others

Endorphin chemical:

Endorphin chemical basically produced in pituitary gland in brain. This chemical is naturally treated painkiller/pain reliever. This chemical is also called "feel good chemicals"because it ease our pain and makes us feel happy. It is said that a person with low level of this chemical is more prone to depression.   • Regular exercise including running

  • Yoga

  • Eating spicy food

  • Chocolates

And it is said that by laughter, this chemical is also produced. So, follow these activities to avoid depression.

Oxytocin chemical:

This chemical released from outside of the pituitary gland. And you know this chemical is also called "love hormone". Holding someone hands who is more close to you can cause the release of this hormone. Lovely messages, cuddling, propose someone, lovingly date and hug leads to higher level of this hormone. This hormone is also produced in bonding between child and milk production of mother.

Serotonin chemical:

It plays an important role in our physical health. The nerve cells produced this chemical. It is said that this chemical is made up of amino acid and obviously amino acids reach our body through food like cheese, butter, nuts etc. This chemical help us to digest our food. This chemical is a powerful neurotransmitter that helps us to reduced our depression. The way we increase this hormone by:

  • Time spend with nature

  • Thoughts of happiness

  • Healthy diets

So guys, these four hormones that kick our brain to feel happy. Obviously by these chemicals, we can increase our happiness.
