Fantastic, Fun-filled Saturday Hola! Read.cash Fam, how was your weekend? I've only been inactive for a day but I already miss y'all. I am so glad that I've got to have free time to write and apprise my fun-filled weekend experiences and this blog will served as your clue behind on my inactivity. I still want to submit this article as an entry to Ms, @LykeLyca's prompt/challenge about "Celebration" , it's better to be late than never lol😅. *All right, let's stop the idle chatter and cut to the chase.* _____________________________ `September 25, 2021` Thanksgiving Day Celebration

"***A grateful heart yearns praise and thanksgiving."*** -Thanksgiving day celebration theme Every third week on the month of September, our church traditionally commemorates a thanksgiving day celebration once a year. We considered it to be the most-awaited and grandest celebration of all time. Despite of the pandemic, all of us we're all hand in hand to every single preparations because we stand in our faith that God is worthy to be given a wholesome and joyful gratitude for He is so good all throughout the whole year, and this is our perfect way to show our deepest and utmost appreciation to our Almighty God. So much from that, I am pretty sure that a lot of churches also practice this kind of special occasion.

Furthermore, the majority decided to held the said celebration at L'Circulio Resort which is mainly located here in our locality, exclusively for PFGC Members only, meaning to say our church officers already booked a reservation in the resort (*no outsiders aloud*). The program started with an opening prayer, followed by the praise and worship, then the word of God. No worries guys, they first asked a permission from our local authorities here, and by the grace of God they allowed us to hold such an event at the resort, however they reminded us to still strictly implement the IATF (*The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases*) protocol to ensure everyone's safety. Bohemian Attire (Dress Code) Our dress code was "***BOHEMIAN ATTIRE",*** for the reason that we still wanted to feel the summer vibes. Everybody was having a hard time to choose and buy perfect attires for the event, and at the same time they got thrilled and excited to know that there's a prize to those who slayed in their outfits. Unexpectedly, my name was added on the TOP 10 Best Slayers, but I refuse to join the impromptu pageant because you know na haha baka maulit na naman yung sa The Runway Show lol. The contenders gave all their best shots and that was entertaining to watch tho.

Fun games and Sports During the event, we also prepared fun games and sports right after lunch. In women's volleyball, Me and @JustMaryel are in the same team and we are so overjoyed because we won the game (500 pesos/$10 cash prize), while @Theodore played in the men's category and won as well. Right after the game, we dived into the pool to enjoy the sparkling clear and cold water and ofcourse we had a great and thrilling experience while sliding in the long slippery slides. Above all, I thanked God for exceeding our expectations that we will definitely be filled with satisfaction and fun. I am certain that everyone did really enjoy the moment, because we all knew that God was in our midst.
