Appreciation Letter for our Spiritual Parents

Yepeey! Four more days to go and VIOLA it's Christmas Time!

December was indeed the merriest but the busiest month of the year. I've managed to buy my godchildren some gifts and attended multiple occasions within this month (Christmas Party, Birthday Celebrations, Thanksgiving day, Pastors Appreciation, etc.). Last Sunday is our Pastors Appreciation day held in our church started at 8:00 am and ended at exactly 11:30 am. The entire congregation exerted so much effort to please and honor our Spiritual Parents. We gave the two of them a couple of random gifts, we've rendered a song and dance presentation for them, messages, and most especially prayers. However, I wasn't able to give a message to them because I was driven by fear and shame but I've decided to write a letter instead.

To Our Beloved Man of God Pastor Lorenel,

You're indeed a man who has a strong/firm conviction and stick to what you do best. You are the epitome of altruism, who prefers to prioritize the concern for the well-being of others. They all admire you're faithfulness and patience and so am I. You are loved and admired by many. Well, there seemed to be no doubt about it. You have shared God's word as our door that leads us to the path of righteousness and then you never cease to amaze us with your greatest principle in life which is "faith without action is dead" and indeed you live your life reflecting all those words. You taught us to embrace our imperfections and weaknesses because they can be our greatest assets. You constantly remind us that there's nothing our God cannot do, that he is the God of all possibilities and limitless blessings. The way you preach the gospel is life-changing and your messages were filled with anointing and power. Thank you Pa you are such a heaven-sent and we are beyond grateful to have you as our Spiritual Father/Bestfriend/Leader/Advisor. I praise and thank God for giving us a worthy shepherd who loves and cares his flock this much. On behalf of United Foursquare Youth please accept our deepest apologies for causing a lot of trouble and for being disobedient. Last but not the least thank you for not giving up and for chosing us, keep in mind that you are dearly loved and we will always support you through thick and thin.

To our Beautiful inside and out Pastora Mitch,

They call you the Miss Perfectionist but we perceived it positively. You are a woman who never ran out of energy and confidence. You are our greatest supporter and motivator. You are a mother figure to everyone for the reason that you never missed a chance to check and update us in every way. The smile on your face reflects the glory and goodness of God in your life. You've managed to order and organize various things all by yourself, and you have acknowledged God for providing such strength and patience. You are a woman of prayer because, in everything you do, you always kneel and ask God's guidance and approval before taking a step. We all admire your sense of humor and kindness towards others. Thank you so much Mom for your loved and comfort. You deserve all the achievements and success that God has given to you. You're such a magnificent one, and you've become our greatest example, as a mother, a good sister, a great friend, and as a woman.

Closing Thoughts;

With all honesty, I am crying while writing this letter. I had still a lot more to say but then I realized it would take me a lifetime if I mention it all, just kidding. Seriously, let us all appreciate and give thanks to our dedicated Church Leaders/Priest/Pastors who made positive changes in our life most especially in our Spiritual aspect. They are gifts of God to churches and we should honor and respect them for the reason that they have a multitude of roles and responsibilities. Meaning to say being a pastor is a tough job. Lastly, honoring them is God's command.

"And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders, who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience. "
