Today i wanna share with you our popular festival Pohela Boisakh. It's our big celebration in every year... So let's start to know about it.... 🥰
What is Pahela Baishakh?
Pahela Baishakh is the first day of Bangla year. Bangalees celebrate the day with traditional festivals. It's celebrities in all over the Bangladesh and India. We celebrate this day with more joy and happiness. It's a more unique festival to the people of all classes and religious.
Why do we celebrate Pahela Baishakh?
We celebrate Pahela Baishakh as the first day of Bangla year. It's a big festival for us. It's means a lots to us. We respect this day from the core of our heart.
What do people do on this day?
On this day the traders open 'Halkhata'. They open a new account and complete their full year accounts and distribute sweet to all people and end their previous year all fault. They attested with people with a hug and end every negative things.
What are the important event’s of this day?
The traditional events Pahela Baishakh are to eat 'Panta-Hilsa' to arrange Baishakhi mela, Boi mela, Nagordola, Puppet show etc. This programme are show in both rural and urban areas with differently. People ware different dresses like Panjabi and Sari. Children were some colourful dresses . In Dhaka different types of organizations organised some different programme to celebrate this day. The day first programme beginning from the Ramona Batamul. Bangla Academy, Shishu Academy, Shilpakala Academy, Bulbul Lalita Kala Academy are arranged dance, singing, drama etc. Our Dhaka University and Chittagong University are also arranged some different type of programme every year. Where every students of the University are participate here with happily.
Why is Pahela Baishakh is our tradition?
Pohela Boisakh is remain us our culture, tradition, history. It's means a lot to every bangalees in our country. It's carry our tradition to our generation from generation ... We celebrate this every year with more happiness and joy....
