Digital Art and Traditional Art

Are you a Digital Artist or a Traditional Artist?
People sometimes fight which is better , Digital Art or Traditional Art ?Well let's first talk about how art is created in Digital and Traditional Art.
Digital Art
In digital Art, an artist uses technology to create a piece of artwork, animations, portraits and many more. Many apps are created for digital art, like Ibis Paint, Procreate, Medibang, Clip studio Paint and many many more. Based on my experience in Ibis Paint x, this digital app have brushes, erasers and many features like blending and smudging. To be a Digital artist , you need a tablet and a stylus pen, or a computer/laptop and a mouse.
There is also called layering in digital art , where an artist add layers, after sketching, add one layer for coloring, and add again one layer for highlights, and so on and so far, until the artist finishes the artwork.
I am a traditional artist, I downloaded Ibis paint for my Glow Artworks :)
Traditional Art
Unlike Digital art , in Traditional Art the artist uses tangible art materials like, pencils, eraser, paint brushes and paper to create an artwork without the use of technology.
Traditional Art is used and created before Digital Art, like sculptures, paintings, symbols written on caves, and artists like Leonardo Da Vinci and Van Gogh are traditional artists who created Mona Lisa and Starry Night, that is still popular and noticed today.
It took them years to finish those wonderful artworks
People ask which is better? Being a traditional artist or digital artist?
Well my answer is both, it is our choice on what kind of artist we will be. Some people say that Digital Art is not an art. Both digital and traditional art, takes time, effort and patience. We should respect each others art.
Digital and Traditional art is not as simple as you think, both still needs time and patience for improvement. Just be happy for yourself and for the other artists too, instead of fighting which is better, let us just support each other and care for each other. There are many successful Digital and Traditional Artists out there, and one day one of them, might be you or us :) .
