I am running out of ideas
So hello everyone !
I am so sorry I've been inactive lately here on read cash because of some reasons:
-I've been very busy
-I've been looking for clients to commission me (sadly I don't have clients yet :( )
-And I am also running out of ideas to publish here on read cash :(
I know everyone experience this too, but I will never leave read cash, When I have great ideas I will still keep posting articles one by one :)
And also I am sad that my two sponsors left me :(
I also observe that I don't have much earnings lately here on read cash.
I hope you can also help me to find clients , I am looking for clients to commission me on my graphic designs, I can design logo, posters, certificates, business cards, thumbnails, designs for your business, commission sheets for artists and many more ! I really need funds right now to pay our rent and our bills :(
I advice also everyone if you are running out of ideas, don't give up, keep reading and writing ! :)

Hello everyone !, today I am gonna share to you a wonderful thing I did for myself :)
Getting a gift for myself, and also I bought that gift using my earnings here on read cash ! So again thank you Read cash !
I've been wanting this before and I am so glad that I finally have it !
I was so excited to get it when the delivery man called me :)
After waiting for I think 3-4 days ?, I finally have a new set of pencils with so many things to use in charcoal drawing !, It has blending stamps, cutter, sharpener, pencil extender, charcoal and graphite sticks, charcoal pencils and kneaded eraser !
I am so happy to try this baby !
I gave my old graphite pencils to my sister so she can learn how to use those also, I also let my sisters to borrow this new art material I bought, and I am happy that they are careful when they are borrowing it :)
As you can see here the white thick like pencils are called blending stamps , it is used for blending and smudging for your drawings, and at the left part is the pencil extender when your pencils are so small , instead of throwing it away , use a pencil extender so you can use your small pencils.
I also tried the cutter and it is very nice, it cuts the lead of the pencils very well and it is not hard to use.
It has also a free sketch book , I forgot to take a pic of it, anyway I bought these set online and I am happy that it is not a scam, and their product is so wonderful !
My next aim to buy are watercolor and watercolor sketchbooks ! I will also soon focus in trying and blending in watercolor :)
We all have dreams and things that we want to buy, let us be patient and work hard to be able to fulfill our wants and needs :)

I am so excited to tell you all this ! I made it to the top 5 in our class this school year !
My final average was 94 ! , I didn't expect that :)
Before announcing the students who got their honors in our class, they old us that for students in Grade 7,8,9 and 11 only the top 5 in the class will be given medals.
I know that I did very well in my projects and modules, but I didn't expect that I will be one of the students who will receive medal in the end of our school year! I am so happy and my family is also proud of me !
So for giving medals in our school, Students who got a total average of 90-94 will receive a bronze medal, students who got a total average of 95-97 will receive a silver medal and for the students who got a total average of 98-100 will receive a gold medal.
In my elementary days I got three silver medals for having a total average of 95 when I was in grade 4-6.
But today I got a total average of 94 that is why I will be receiving soon a bronze medal :)
I already got my report card yesterday, and I am glad that I don't have a failing grade
Hoping that face to face classes will continue and be approved next school year for all students to have good interaction and better experience in learning :)
But still with or without honors , don't lose hope, as long as you got a passing grade that is already good !, just prevent yourself in receiving a failing grade :)
We all did great this year and hoping we will do great every school year !
Be patient, understanding and motivated always, do not pressure and push yourself too much !
Do not lose hope in pursuing your dreams, with or without medal at the end this school year, as long as you have a passing grade , be proud of it !
Be proud in finishing and surviving another school year !

Hello again everyone! I am back again, I've been very busy these days in finishing a Charcoal Portrait and a watercolor art commission. :)
So today I am gonna share to you about my very first watercolor commission !
Before, I am only accepting Charcoal Portrait Commissions, but when I learned how to use watercolor , I also started accepting watercolor commissions :)
So this client messaged me last week if I am still open for commissions , and I said yes, and I told him my price. But he said that its not a person but a place. The place was Venice, Italy. I think twice before accepting it, I said to myself , why not? Let's try something new !
So here is my sketch before painting it

I think the pencil made the painting better haha
So my style in doing watercolor artworks is to paint it first using watercolor and for the other details is for the pencil. Some artists uses pen but for me pencil is better :)
I already delivered this painting to my client and I am so glad that he liked it !
I don't know why but I am starting to fall in love with watercolor ! haha
I just love how it blends and how it makes it easier for me to paint , and of course its cheaper , I can afford it :)
We all have different styles in using watercolor, How about you how do you use watercolor? , do you trace it with a pencil or a pen after painting it ? or you finish your artwork using watercolor only ?

Business is not just about money, Even if you have money if you don't have ideas and plans , you can't start a business !
Starting a Business is not easy , we should have great ideas, we should be determined, wise and creative for our business to be successful.
So for today's article I did some research and examples of Business you can start with Zero Money !
1. Pack and Drop Online Selling
You first look for a supplier or someone who is also a seller who do pack and drop.
Pack and Drop means the seller or your supplier will be the one to pack the item and drop it in a specific location, where your buyers will pick up their items.
So how does pack and drop in Online Selling work?
All you have to do is to post their items and put additional price to the original price. The amount of price you add to the original price is what you call your commission.
For example, your seller/supplier posted and item worth 50 pesos/ 1 dollar. All you have to do is to repost the item but change the price into 65 pesos/ 1.24 dollars. If someone will buy the item in your price, just notify you supplier, they will be the one to pack the item and drop it in a specified location. Once the buyer paid the item, your supplier will pay you your commission which is 15 pesos/ 0.29 dollars.
Just simple as that ! All you need is a gadget you will use to post the items in your social media :)
2. Logo Designing
If you have apps to use in designing logo and you know how to edit. Well, you can start a business now!
Like me I am also doing Logo Designing, but the difficult part for me is to have clients or attract more clients.
In logo designing, you should satisfy the ideas of your client, you should ask first what is their business and what are they gonna use the logo for, to know what design you will create and also for the client to love you work.
I am gonna use my commissioned logo yesterday as an example here:
My client yesterday wants a logo for their Inflatable Play Ground Business, she wants it to be easily noticed and easy to read, because they will be putting the logo at the back of their car.
The name of their business is Part Playground by Kids Adventure Land, First I made two samples for the logo for her choices. She also requested to change the font of the design she picked.
So here is the result and final output for her logo. Simple but , it is easy to read and the client is also satisfied, that she paid me more than the price I gave :)
So in Logo designing you must know what are the wants and donts of your clients.
3. Digital Art Commissions
If you skills in digital art , you can start posting for commissions now!
Digital Art is an art using a stylus pen, tablet or a cellphone. Using apps like Ibis paint, procreate and more where you can draw and create.
So in pricing for digital art here is an example I saw on google.
Where the price depends if the client wants a full body, just above the knee or bust part.

So for the Youtube Thumbnail he paid me 20 pesos (0.38 dollars)

This is one of my biggest dreams ! Building my own Art Cafe ! :)
I've been dreaming to have my own Art Cafe , where artists can also paint and draw while drinking their coffee.
Where artists can also post their artworks on my cafe so many people, can see and appreciate their artworks :)
A cafe where you can expand your imagination and showing your creativity, wonderful isn't ?
But building your own business is not that easy, you need to have your own permit, you should have a good plan before starting your own business and always think for something trendy to have high sales.
If my art cafe won't be successful when I grow up, my back up plan is to have my own Art Gallery or Art Studio, a place where I can show people my talent, creativity and patience. Where I can deal and talk to clients who are interested in my artworks, where I can also sell my artworks to have extra income :)
But if both will be successful and possible in the future,Why not ? I would love to manage an Art Cafe and an Art Gallery ! :))
I am sure that my family will help in my future business :)
Art will always be within me, that is why when I grow up , have a job and earn money, I will be making my own business with Art !
I will finish first my studies , set goals , help my siblings finish school and solve first our problems. I will be patient and hoping that I can achieve my two biggest dreams.

I woke up early this morning, I looked at our calendar and today is " Friday The 13th"....
So hello everyone, today we have a different blog today, I think this might be a horror blog hihi :)
Today we are gonna discuss and talk about "Friday the 13th ", I did a research and in this blog, I am gonna explain why people call this day "Unlucky".
So in this day, people might be avoiding, to walk in a ladder, meet a black cat or break a mirror.
Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day in **Western superstition**. It occurs when the 13th day of the month in the Gregorian calendar falls on a Friday, which happens at least once every year but can occur up to three times in the same year.
You might already watched a movie about it, where the killer is named "Jason", who is wearing a mask.
"Friday The 13th" is the story of a group of teenagers who are stalked and murdered while trying to reopen a summer camp at Crystal Lake. But the shocking truth is that the film is based on the real life murders of three teenagers at Lake Bodom, Finland.
Why is this day unlucky?
According to biblical tradition, 13 guests attended the Last Supper, held on Maundy Thursday, including Jesus and his 12 apostles (one of whom, Judas, betrayed him). The next day, of course, was Good Friday, the day of Jesus’ crucifixion.
The seating arrangement at the Last Supper is believed to have given rise to a longstanding Christian superstition that having 13 guests at a table was a bad omen, specifically, that it was courting death.
The Fear of 13
Many people hold fast to the belief that Friday the 13th brings bad luck. Though it’s uncertain exactly when this particular tradition began, negative superstitions have swirled around the number 13 for centuries.
What Bad Things Happened on Friday 13th?
On Friday, October 13, 1307, officers of King Philip IV of France arrested hundreds of the Knights Templar, a powerful religious and military order formed in the 12th century for the defense of the Holy Land.
Imprisoned on charges of various illegal behaviors (but really because the king wanted access to their financial resources), many Templars were later executed. Some cite the link with the Templars as the origin of the Friday the 13th superstition, but like many legends involving the Templars and their history, the truth remains murky.

When you are given criticism how do you react?
Do you get angry or you stay calm?
We sometimes get criticism, I think because, of our body, appearance, about our life, work, artworks, performance and many more.
We really can't prevent or stop other people in judging us, they say what they want to say, it maybe rude or not. But are you strong enough to accept such criticisms?
Sometimes those criticism are really rude and below the belt. People sometimes don't think before talking.
Especially on social media, like facebook, instagram, twitter and youtube. People can easily say, type or comment anything they want. Based on my observations, some people who get criticisms are the ones , that people think they are not good enough.
So how do we accept Criticisms?
#1 Stop your first reaction or Pause
Sometimes criticisms are really rude and disrespectful, that can make us angry or aggressive. To be safe , we should pause first or stop our first reaction.
#2 Think of why they said that
People always have a reason when they judge or criticize you. Think why they said that, or ask for their reason.
#3 Listen and Understand
Listen and understand why they gave criticism to you. There is always a reason or explanation.
#4 Stay Calm
When you burst out your emotions or reactions easily, people will continue to judge you, just stay calm.
#5 Express appreciation and Don't get it too personal
People give you criticism because of something you did, and not about who you are as a person. Learn to appreciate and show them that you understand.
When people criticize you, accept it as a lesson for you. Show them how good you are. Accepting criticism does not mean that you agree with them. We cannot prevent and stop people from judging and criticizing us, but they cannot stop us from doing our best and being successful.
Take it as a lesson for you, focus on who you are and focus on your dreams to become successful. We are in a world full of judgement.

So yeah, school's over already, in my school. After 2 months of vacation, I am now on 10th grade :)

School's not yet over in my siblings' schools, because we started online and modular learning earlier than them. One of my plans this vacation is...
To help my siblings in their assignments, projects and guide them in their school works
My youngest sister "Demy", who is 6 years old will continue attending her face to face classes, on May 16. I will also focus in teaching her more about reading and writing.
The middle child "Carrie Anne" who is 13 years old, is still continuing in their online, modular learning. I will also help her , especially on her projects for school.

Honestly, we are now experiencing problems in paying our rent, expenses and short budget for groceries and food. That is why I am really determined and I would be very very very,, Happy to find a good online, part-time job.

I know that my art commissions are experiencing in low sales, but I hope someone would commission to me ,I would be glad and thankful.

Today I am gonna show you , one of my newest watercolor artwork !
I named it "Lady in Blue"
For me, Blue means "Freedom" or in tagalog, "Kalayaan". I made this artwork for you to feel and think about your freedom. The lady represents "YOU" :)
So the Lady in Blue means, " You and Freedom".
I made this artwork using watercolor and pencil :) I hope you like it
As you can see I focused in emphasizing color blue. Like the dress, hairband, the roses and also the butterflies.
I hope also that you give yourself a freedom, don't push to hard on yourself, everything is gonna be alright. :) We may be busy sometimes but we should not always forget to take care and free ourselves. Clear your minds and relax for a while.
The blue hearts on her cheeks, means to give your heart a freedom, listen to your heart :)
The butterflies and roses around her represents the people and things that gives you freedom and makes you feel that you are free.
I hope you already understand this artwork. If you feel locked up, take time to relax your mind and take a rest for your heart.

Our mothers deserve love and care, for their sacrifices and protection they always do and give to us.
People say, "Mother's knows best ", and based on my experience that's true. My mom knows best for me and my siblings, We became her number 1 priority in her life. She always takes care of us, she makes sure that we are learning well at school, sometimes she spoils us too much, she always gives us what we want, she is also protective and she always know when there is a danger coming, That is why we love her very much.
She is also a writer here on read cash, @Deby_writes and I hope she sees and read this article :)
I love that my mom and my family also supports me in making art and pursuing my passion. She is the one who inspired and motivated me to continue making artworks.
This is also your time to give hugs and kisses to your mother and say I love you. I hope you always do that to your mom even if it is not Mother's Day. Make them always feel that everyday is a special day.

My Life as a Young Online Seller :)

So today I will not just publish articles about art, I will also share and publish articles about my life, experiences, passion, achievements and many more ! :)
My life as a Young online seller is not as easy as you think
My mom is the first online seller in our family. She posts products in her facebook account, she waits for clients/ buyers to buy the products she posted, then she drops the items in a specified locations where the buyers will receive their items and drop their payments. That is the cycle and her routine everyday.
She is my inspiration, that is why I became interested in Online selling.
Being an Online seller is a bit challenging , especially when handling rude buyers and bogus buyers.
What are Bogus Buyers?
These kind of buyers are scammers but we call them "Bogus Buyers". They order or buy an item, we drop their items in our Dropping Area but when we message them about their items that are ready to receive, they block us or ignore our messages.
And that buyers is not what we want in online selling, we hate them :)
In Online Selling, if you buy or order an item, please don't ignore or block the seller when he/she messages you that your items are ready to pick up. Online Sellers put effort and patience in managing products, listing their sales and hoping that they will not be scammed.
So as a young Online Seller, I started selling products and doing Live selling. Of course I am very happy if I have many buyers. There are sometimes that I have few buyers or no buyers , and that makes me sad. But still I continued posting products until now.
Products that I am selling and Products that I sold are:
Clothes
Food
Items seen on TV
Cosmetics
Art Materials and many more
Being an Online Seller can be tiring but satisfying at the same time especially when your products are sold out and when you have many buyers :)
Online Selling is also difficult because there are many scammers, you are not sure if he/she is a real buyer or a scammer. But I am always hoping that I will not meet any scammers :)
My advice to you is just be careful in choosing your buyers, Be a wise Online Seller !
Not all things on social media are true so be careful and don't get scammed !
But I still enjoy being an online seller because this is the way, to help my family, to have extra income and money to pay our rent, expenses and bills. I hope that I will be successful someday and to have my own products.
I will do everything to help my family, I hope you are too, Being an Online seller is fun and challenging at the same time, Be careful in choosing your buyers ! :)

I've been really busy these days but now I am back, and I really missed writing articles and I also missed you !
So today I am gonna share to you why I have been really busy these days.
First of all, my phone is broken :( , but I am glad that I am able to borrow my cousin's laptop, so I can publish and write articles. I don't know what happened its just that my phone won't open, I tried factory data reset, I reboot it but it is still broken and it won't open. :(
Then I started attending face to face classes at my school last month, that is why I focused first on my studies and I didn't have time to write and publish articles. I have fun during our face to face classes, I am able to talk and discuss in person with my classmates. But that face to face classes was just a pilot testing for the next school year that is why it ended last week.
I hope that face to face classes will be successful next school year, because I want to enjoy my school days, I am tired of being stuck at home and my two years of high school years has been taken away from me :( because of this pandemic.
I also started online selling ! :), I hope it will be successful. I already started posting products on facebook and I will be very happy if someone will order from me :)
Then I focused also in teaching and guiding my little sister who is 6 years old, because she is also attending face to face classes. I focused in teaching her how to read, write , add, subtract and I also helped her in her projects for school.
Now that I am back here on read cash, I will be uploading again more articles for you !, Thank you very much for patiently waiting and for your support.

Do you know what is Glow Artwork?
Did you try making one?
Glow artwork is like Traditional x Digital Artwork. You draw in a traditional way and add glow effects using digital apps.
I'll show you how :)
There's this app called Ibis Paint X , this app is what I always use to add glow effects in my drawings. To make my artworks like glowing in the dark :))
So let us start adding glow effects in our drawings !
First thing that you need is of course your drawing is low brightness like this :
Go to ibis paint x , and click add photo. To add glow effects in your drawing you can choose on these three brushes to use:
But the brush that I recommend is Airbrush (Triangle). Click on your chosen brush and also pick the color that you would like to apply on your drawing.
Use the brush to add glow effects, on the side of your drawing or on the background. Here's the result of my glow artwork.
Try glow artworks! It is fun and you can enjoy it.

So first what is Art Trade?
Art Trade is a term used when two artists agreed to exchange art or artworks, digital or traditional type. It is free and it is like a gift to each other.

Art Trade is really fun and exciting. Art Trades that I do is drawing each others face or drawing my friend in my art style.
I didn't just have fun but I am also happy that someone / some people are interested to do art trades with me :)

Many people gave up ,on their passion because of poverty
Can you continue your passion even if you are poor?
Sometimes people think , you can't be successful, you can't follow your dreams because you are poor. People think that if you are rich you can do anything, and if you are poor you do nothing.
Poverty is the number one problem in our family. We are not so poor but we have problems when it talks about money.
But that can't stop me in pursuing my passion.
I grew up doing my passion, drawing and making artworks with only cheap and simple materials. But I am satisfied and contented with that, as long as I am able to draw.
My Dad, Mom ,my family keep supporting me to follow my dreams ;).
Sometimes artists gave up on their passion because of lack of art materials. We can still find ways to keep doing ,what we love. One day we can have and buy things we want , just keep striving and trust yourself. Be patient and generous.
Today I am happy that one by one, I am buying art materials that I want. I keep collecting also. My mom also buys things for me if she have extra money, and I am okay with that ;)
Even if you are poor, your talent is still in you , You can't buy what you want today but you can buy it soon , trust me :))

Do you feel like giving up, because you have few reactions on your art post on social media?
Does number of likes, reacts , share and comments is your basis on how good or bad you are in art?
Is being famous more important that showing your creativity ?
Many artists now are using social media to share their creations, artworks and drawings. All of us artists, are really excited and also happy to share our artworks to more people on social media, but sometimes some artists are disappointed and not contented in getting few reactions on their post
That is the part where some artists think that their artworks are not good enough because of few reactions on their post.
But do we really get that as a basis ?
We share artworks on social media , not for fame but for showing our talent, sharing our creativity and inspiring people. Artists like Da Vinci and Van Gogh are an artists long long time ago, and they are just being known and discovered today. They took time concentrating for many years in their artworks and they didn't even think about being famous. They just want to be creative and make artworks.
I hope that some artists change their mind that being famous is not important in showing your creativity and talent. So don't be disappointed and sad in getting few reactions, there are still people who really appreciates your art even if you are not famous. Be contented, keep practicing and inspiring people. :)
Fame fades but Creativity and Talent stays forever in us :)

Read cash is a platform where we can earn bitcoin cash, by writing articles and giving comments.
I've been looking for many websites to earn money, I also tried finding jobs online. I know I'm still young but my life is different. While the other kids, teenagers living in a calm and good life, I am here looking for something to earn money to help my family. Life gets harder this pandemic, and I really really need to find something to earn extra income. I never heard of read cash before so the first thing I tried are earning apps, but none of them are legit paying!
I started to get tired and thinking of giving up, until I saw one of my friends on facebook, posted something like total of their earnings on a website. I was really curious, so I messaged her, at first I thought she invested or mining bitcoin, but she said no that is a bit risky.
She sent me a link of a website, she said that she earned 20 dollars on her first article in that website. I said woww, I want to try it too. I really need to earn money that time,, So I started making my own account on this website, Read Cash. I also researched about Read cash, and what I saw was I can earn money by writing !. I was so happy to see that, because writing is also one of my hobbies.
In publishing my first article, I started to think of some ideas, my final idea was about advice for the beginner artists. I published finally my first article, after two days I am so happy to see that, I earned almost 10 dollars on my first article!
Its been two weeks that I became a writer here on read cash with you, I already published more than 10 articles ! :)), and I also earned more than 20 dollars !, Thank you very much for my friend for her recommendation and also

My Art Commissions

Good day everyone, today I am gonna show you some of my Art Commissions :))
My art commissions are Charcoal Portraits, I draw faces of people using my charcoal and graphite pencils. Some of art materials I use are, mechanical eraser, kneaded eraser, white pencil, charcoal powder and make up brushes.
The mechanical and kneaded eraser are used for the highlights and some details of the drawing and also the white pencil. For the charcoal powder I use it for the darker parts especially the hair, while the make up brushes are used for blending and also highlights.
She is one of my old clients, she supports local artists. My friend helped me shipped the drawing because that client's location is too far.
I also let my clients choose if they want the drawings to be laminated or framed , they give me additional payment for the lamination and frame.
When they want the drawing to be laminated this is what it looks like, lamination gives the drawing a hard protection so that the drawing won't be destroyed. I recommend this to my clients for the better quality of the drawing and also cheaper than frame.
Sometimes in my art commissions, it is hard for me to follow the shape of the lips and the nose.
Sometimes I put backgrounds in my art commissions.
Here is one of my recent commissions, I also accept family portraits. It took me a week to finish it. Family portraits are a bit challenging to me.
My pricing in my art commissions are per head / per person. The many people I draw, the higher the price of the commission. The bigger the size they want , the higher the price also.
Doing art commissions is not that easy, I am glad that I never encountered a demanding client. These art commissions took me days and weeks to finish it , I am happy that my clients are satisfied with the results. All artists needs to be appreciated it is not that easy to draw people's faces. For all artist's who wants to start an Art Commissions make your prices not to high and not to low, name your price based on what you think is your artworks worth.

My Watercolor Artworks :)

Hello everyone :) How's your day?
Today I want to share and show you some of my watercolor artworks , hope you like it :)
I started to learn how to use watercolor when I was 13 years old. At first I put too much water on my brush and the color I want to paint is too light. I learned that I should not put to much water on my paintbrush if I want a darker color and also to prevent the paper to have holes in it :). Because the paper I use before in making watercolor artworks is just a normal bond paper. I don't know about watercolor paper before.
The Candy and Butterfly Girl are one of my old watercolor artworks. That time I am learning about skin tone and I also tried experimenting colors. It is really fun and exciting !, I really enjoy using watercolor in my artworks until now.
When I start making watercolor artworks, the first thing I do is to sketch what I want to draw. Sometimes I draw scenery, people, cartoons and also flowers. After my sketch , I lightly erase it then I start layering colors using watercolor. In skin tone, I combine the colors : Red, yellow, and purple, if you want it darker add more red and purple and if you want it lighter add more yellow.
I saw that on youtube about what colors to use in skin tone for watercolor.
After using watercolor in coloring artwork, I trace my artwork using a gel pen, to add highlights and also for the finishing of the artwork.
For me Watercolor is very fun to use especially when you are experimenting and blending colors.
The Fairy is one of my favorite artworks, I love the butterflies and flowers around it. I also used colored gel pens in that artwork. I had fun making that artwork. I thought the lips part is a failure but when I finally finished it, it became wonderful. I am satisfied with the results :)
Try using watercolor also in your artworks its fun, exciting and amazing and also easy to use, just keep practicing !, Watch tutorials on youtube and try to blend colors :))
Teach also your kids to use watercolor it is very easy and safe to use than poster paints.

"Every Child is an Artist"
I think that is true, as I observe my little sister , I always see how creative and artistic she is, I am so proud of her. That is why I always share my art materials with her and I also see her improvements.
I love her artworks and paintings. I also showed her how to use watercolor, color pencils and color pastel. I am happy that she enjoys making artworks and she always proudly shows it to me :)

It is amazing how she quickly learn and discover new things. At a young age it is good to teach kids to be creative and productive. Instead of letting them hold their phones or watch television all day, why not teach them about art? It is fun and exciting !
I am happy that she enjoys what she is doing, she wants to learn more to improve. She is determined to be a wonderful artist.
I hope she will continue her passion, I will always support her and help her always. She will improve and become a successful artist someday.

Metal Scrap Artist of Sagada

Have you ever heard about a Metal Scrap artist?
Have you seen sculptures made from motorcycle scrap or metal parts?
Today I will introduce to you an artist from Sagada, Philippines who uses motorcycle scrap parts to create an amazing and wonderful sculptures.
The artist , Dario Frias Jr. has a unique way in making artworks from scraps and scratch. He makes sculptures inspired from the Igorot people and culture of Sagada. These sculptures are not just creative but also unique and resourceful. Many people are amazed and they want to see more of his metal scrap sculptures.
Here are some of his sculptures:
A very detailed dragon sculpture, it is not that easy as you think :)
He also made a guitar made from metal scraps
He also sells his artworks and some of his sculptures are open for viewing at Sagada, Philippines.
They call this sculpture a "tinagtago". A tinagtago among the Kankana-ey Igorots is a spiritual sculpture that resembles a human image. It is called bulul among the Ifugaos.
Here is an Igorot inspired sculpture he made. It is a man wearing a "Bahag", holding an ax and a shield called "Kalasag".
A "Kalasag" is a large rectangular shield used by precolonial Filipinos.
This type of art is also called Recycling Art, because of the process of using motorcycle scrap parts and turning it into metal scrap sculptures. If you want to become a Metal Scrap Artist, be creative, patient and resourceful, like this artist of Sagada.

As a student and first child in the family, I noticed that my parents are experiencing difficulty in earning money, because there are so many expenses that we need to pay. Especially this pandemic, our life gets difficult. While my art commissions are used for our needs. Things gets harder and harder for me and my family. We don't even have a house that is why we need to pay rent monthly.

I was amazed and I didn't hesitate to try this website, because I really love writing and making articles. I created my account and my friend guided me on what to do in this website. I finally published my very first article which is the " My Little Advice for Beginner Artists", after two days I was shocked to see that I earned 9 dollars on my first article ! Writing is an Art

Art is not just about lines, shapes, color and patterns. It can also include letters !, yes Letters !. For me combining letters is an art, creating words , sentences, paragraphs, poem, and articles is an art.
This is what we call writing, where we put ideas, words and write something. It is wonderful isn't ? Writing is really creative like art. Others say writing is boring and makes them tired, for me writing is not boring if I am the one who thinks what I want to write. Writing helps me express myself , share my knowledge and inspire other people, like making an art.
Writing helps us to have understanding, helps us learn and discover new things. Because of writing I am able to share some things I know about art here , with you. Because also of writing I can express and show my ideas and knowledge. Writing also helps me improve my grammar and spelling, especially at school.
Writing is fun and amazing, if you really love and enjoy it.

Finding your own Art style
So first what is Art Style you may ask?
Art Style describe the way how an artwork looks. It depends on how the artist portrays the artwork he/she wants to create, and also how the artist express his/her imaginations and ideas.
If you want to find and discover your own Art Style...
Take note of what kind of art you are interested in
Like music, art has different kinds that each of us is interested in. So it is is really important to identify and discover what kind of art you are interested in.
Seek inspiration
Watch and observe how your favorite artists make their artwork. Observe their movements and be inspired. Some artists have art style based on anime, some are like cartoons/animations, some artists use bright colors and some use dark colors for their art styles.
Try watching tutorials on youtube
It will help you expand your knowledge and challenge your skills
Try making an artwork or draw in free hand
Try drawing faces, scenery, or create an artwork without using a reference or something to copy. It can help you see how you interpret and draw a person or something.
I discovered my art style when I started to draw faces on my own without references, but before that I watched tutorials on youtube, on how to draw a face, hands and a body. Now I am satisfied about my art style , and guess what,, my art style also improved after so many months :))

Art has different types, styles and interpretations. There are also many drawing styles that are invented throughout the years. Some are already common to you, while some are very unique and also fun to try.
So today, let's discuss some different drawing styles that you can try and practice at home :)
#1 Pointillism Art
Pointillism , also called divisionism and chromo-luminarism, the practice of applying small strokes or dots of color to a surface so that from a distance they visually blend together.
This type of art requires more patience but if you finished the artwork , you will be satisfied. Pointillism is also fun and really tests your patience. If you want to try this type of art, you can start with a pen and a paper, look for a simple reference, and try to copy reference by layering more dots for the darker part and few dots for the lighter part, of your reference.
#2 Doodling Art
Doodle art is a very unique way in expressing yourself and also a brilliant way to experiment lines and shapes.
This type of art is based on your creativity, ideas and imagination. You can make cartoons, patterns, weird and unique characters of your own.
You can start by drawing lines, combining shapes and draw patterns. It is also good to put colors on it and make it colorful.
#3 Cartoon Styles
This is one of the style and trend we see on tiktok, where an artist transforms him/herself or a celebrity into some different cartoon styles like, the simpsons style, disney style, gravity falls, powerpuff girls and some popular cartoons.
This is really fun and amazing, you can also see how creative you are. Try this trend at home its fun ! :) Try to look for some popular cartoons or your favorite cartoons and try to draw yourself in that style.
