Basanti_polao/mishti_polao

# Ingredients - 1 cup Govinda Bhog rice

Almonds

Raisins

Ginger paste

Hot spices

Sugar

Salt

Turmeric

Ghee

Raw chilli.

(All materials must be quantified)

# Method - First of all, the rice should be washed and dried well. Then the amount of almonds and raisins should be soaked separately. Then mix the rice with ginger paste, amount of sugar, 1 teaspoon turmeric, salt to taste, 3 teaspoons ghee and cover for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, heat it with 2-3 spoons of ghee in a pan. Then lightly fry them with hot spices. Then fry it with almonds and salt to taste and fry it with raisins for another 10 seconds. Once the cashews and raisins are fried, fry the marinated rice in it for 2-3 minutes on medium heat and add 2-3 cups of hot water. The amount of water cannot be too much or too little. Then mix it well with the chopped raw chilli and cover it for 5 minutes and cook on medium heat.

After 5 minutes, shake the polao a little and cover it again for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes ready sweet polao or basanti polao.

I never comment on any cooking recipe that I follow but I want to thank you for this recipe. I have tried so many biryani recipes from all the famous you tube chefs but only this one was successful . I added some flavours of my own like kesar water/ milk , nutmeg and kewra and it turned out really good //It tastes awesome
