Transnational terrorism- major issue in the world

Civil war, transnational terrorism and foreign military intervention were studied separately.But transnational terrorism is unlawful use of force indiscriminate violence by internationally linked groups against persons or properties in different parts of world. It starts from one country and ends in other country.It is carried out by autonomous non- state actors while international terrorism is carried out by the individuals or groups controlled by a sovereign state.

History:

In mid 1990s terrorism became Transnational Terrorism. In 1989 Al-qaeda established was in Afghanistan against Soviet Union and NETO.The 9/11 attacks on United States defeated taliban and Al-qaeda 's central command was given to Pakistan. In 2002 America started drone strike s in Pakistan ,Yamman and Libya.ConEict has racked Somalia since the late 198Ys, starting with rebellion against the military dictatorship of General Siad Barre and descending into turmoil after its collapse.

Causes:

Causes of motivating the terrorism are:

1-Independence

2-Irredentist movements

3-Adoption of particular political philosophy

Challenges:

The major challenges in combating the transnational terrorism are:

3-differences in political views and foreign policy

4- Differences in the relationships with states

5- lack of funding

6-lack unity
