5 free online courses at World famous Universities [First Part]

World is now going through a pandemic situation. Students of all categories ( eg. School, College, University) are passing critically uncertain and frustrating situation. But in this situation, some famous online educational websites like coursera.org, edx.org are providing short term free online courses that can enrich your extra abilities and add vital experience with online certificate that you can add to your personal CV for applying towards different jobs, higher studies etc.

Though maximum courses are based on universities subjects but some of the course are provided for personal skill development.

In this article i want to keep you informed about the one of the course out of the 5 popular courses. In my next article i will inform the other 4 courses.

Harvard University,USA is providing 90 free online courses like Computer programming, History, Business studies, Mathematics, Health etc. You can check in out from the this website : online-learning.harvard.edu/catalog/FREE

The link that i give at first is for "Rhetoric : The art of persuasive writing and public speaking. In this course you can learn how to represent you thoughts, opinions or logistics appropriately at public conference or in formal (official) sectors. This course will teach you about Critical thinking by analyzing famous speeches and related articles. The course is designed by Professor of English and Literature of Harvard University, James Angle. You can learn it by free of cost. But if you want institutional certificate, you need to pay 99$ which approximately costs 8500BDT.

Ahh i thought they sent those certificates when the course you took was completed. Didn't know that had to be paid for

Actually, this is not for all the case. If you complete any course from coursera.org or edx.org they will provide you free certificate. But University based courses will help you to learn, though they not give you their own institutional certificates.

That's kind of understandable but then a lot of people could make use of those certificates as testament of their finishing the course. And it could add to their skill/work qualification too so that's a shame
