One of the challenges I've had in the past was my inability to interact socially with people to get connections or personal advancement. My struggle to become my best self was rather slow and negligible. My knowledge and experiences were not enough to put me through my dreams and goals. Fighting within me by myself left me with weaknesses that overpowered me all of the time.
Success does not come by keeping your weaknesses to yourself, but by telling them to someone who has the potential to help you out.
On the other hand, being kind to people in need and preserving their privacy and integrity are some of the best gifts you can ever give to people.
Keeping silent at the expense of your personal growth when a single word can bring you to a point you have been longing to be is the worse decision you will ever make. Every situation no matter how hard it seems to be has a solution that can be given to you by one or two persons around you only if you open up.
We are not enough and that's why no individual can stand on his own to become the best he wishes to be. There are elevators (people) at every point who will serve as guides to you.
The people you have around you are a special gift of God to you. They are not there only to keep you company, it goes beyond that limit. With them, you will get to learn more and discover more.
Having one or two persons to share your challenges is the first step in solving them. Our experiences alone cannot serve us the best. Don't get yourself stuck at one point as a result of your inability to have productive networking with people. Go right out and make known your challenges to those who can help you.
I think it's right on point if I say you've got the best being a member of this group. Through people, you have learnt a lot and you are still learning. That is to tell you that the best of all gifts is people. A productive and purpose-driven approach will help solve the puzzle.
Make use of that gift.
UNDERSTANDING THE SUPERPOWER OF TIME
Time is one of the greatest assets available to man, the same time turns out to be the most misused asset by man. Time has only one direction. When it passes right by you, it carries with it many opportunities of a lifetime that you can never have again.
A survey carried out on 200 old men and women shows that many of them wish they could become young again, many wish they could love again, some wish they could go back to their past and correct the mistakes they made when they were young.
Time is wicked and same time nice. It depends on how you value your seconds and minutes. If you don't value your seconds, you can't value the minutes, if you don't value your minutes, certainly you can't value your hours, and the chain continues to a point where your dreams, goals and potentials will become valueless to you.
How you use your time determines whether you will meet your goals, temporary or permanent defeat in time to come. Every moment of your life, if not well utilised carries away more than it brings to you, leaving you with worries and regrets over opportunities you had but could not use them.
Time gives life and same time kills.
We all have our expiry date and so do our goals, dreams and God-given potentials. It is quite a common experience that in most cases, our goals and dreams expire even before us. This usually happens when an individual is not able to seize his lifetime opportunity and make the best use of it.
Time kills not necessarily physical. My friend once made a post with this caption that caught my attention; Death is not the greatest loss in life, the greatest loss is what dies inside of you when you are still alive.
We are not getting any younger, we must be willing at all times to forge ahead with time. It is better to act on time than allowing time to act on you. The best of all times is the one which you have at the moment. The decision you make now will go a long way in correcting many things in your future.
On every birthday, you celebrate. It appears to be the best moment of your life. That's not enough. It's good to celebrate, but it's much more important if you can celebrate that which you have recorded in all these years as your achievements. Making the right and productive use of time is the most important of them all.
You can't kill time, but it slowly kills you. Be wise and be careful, if you are not able to seize the opportunities at that moment, time will rob you of them.
