Most people believe that maturity is by your age but it doesn't determine your age, height, or color.

Maturity can be emphasized in the way we react to situations, how we handle challenges that comes our way, and so on.

Our age doesn't determine how mature we are, it's our experience and the way we handle situations that determines if we are mature.

Anyone can be mature at any age in their life, it just determines how they handle life challenges and the experience they have and how they present themselves.

You wouldn't be surprised seeing an aged person not still mature but acting like a kid, in reality, maturity isn't determined by your age, race, color, or anything related to that, it all depends on how you handle life hurdles/challenges that arise and how you present yourself to people.

Let me list some qualities that make a people mature;

1. A mature person needs to be able to make plans for yourself and handle situations that arise your way, challenges would arise but we need to take our stand and handle it.

2. As a mature person, you need to exhibit the mind of forgiving and forgetting what others have done to you and letting fate take charge of those who wronged you.

3. A mature person doesn't give up, you need to always remind yourself of why you started and then put courage to push on.

4. A mature person doesn't tell others his plans but lets his results show forth, to become mature we need to realize that people hate progress so we need to plans things ourselves and never share our plans with people.

Maturity shouldn't be considered by age, race, or anything related to that, it's how you can handle the situation that comes your way and how the present yourselves to others.

Being mature simply refers to your knowledge of understanding things, a small boy of 7 years of age can be more mature than a 40 years old man, it determines his experience and how he handles situations that arise.
