1. Stupid death

Gary Howe was one of Toronto's most famous lawyers. But what made him famous all over the world was how he died. One day, he and his colleagues gathered at the Toronto Space Center to discuss the safety of the building's windows. During this time, he started running towards the window to prove that the glass used for it is unbreakable. At this point, the glass shattered and he fell from the 24th floor. Of course, he had done the same thing several times before, but he had never been injured. He was awarded the Darwin Prize in 1996 for this bizarre death. This award was given to those who lost their lives due to a stupid mistake.

2. sudden death

Henry Hall was a British lighthouse keeper. His family had cared for the lighthouse for generations. On December 3, 1755, the lighthouse caught fire. At this time, Henry and two of his colleagues tried their best to put out the fire, but Because the lighthouse was in the middle of the water, they stayed one day by the fires and molten materials, the next day they were found and rescued by the ruins of the lighthouse. Henry was 94 years old at the time, but he was very fresh and strong. A few days later, on December 8, Henry died very suddenly.

His death was so strange that doctors decided to examine his body. The cause of death was nothing but pieces of molten lead that had entered his throat and damaged his internal organs. This piece of lead is now keep in the National Museum of Scotland.

3. Death to prove the claim

Clement Wallandigham was an Ohio politician and lawyer. In 1871, when Clement was 50, he went to court to defend a man named Thomas McGihan. Thomas claimed that the victim had shot himself in the leg and died. So Clement decided to perform the same play in court and recreate the scene his client had defined.

Clement thought the gun he was given was empty; But he had a full shotgun!! and Clement actually shot himself in the leg while performing the reconstruction of the scene. Clement's bleeding was so severe that he died moments before it reached the hospital. Thomas was later get acquitted of the murder.

4. Dead winner

Frank Hayes was a professional rider. It was rare for him to participate in a competition and not win. He always owed his success to his "suite" horse and would never have competed without him. In 1923, while competing in a race in Belmont Park, New York, he suddenly had a heart attack in the middle of the race. Ignoring Frank, Suite continued on his way and managed to cross the finish line and win.

When everyone gathered around the suite, they were surprised at Frank's immobility. When Frank was taken off the horse, it was revealed that he had recently died of a heart attack. He was the first and only person to win the race after his death.

5. Death with the orange!

In 1911, Bobby Leach managed to build a barrel-like boat and safely cross Niagara Falls. He was the second person in the world to be able to cross Niagara safely and that is why he became famous in the world, This was at a time when many who had tried to cross Niagara never returned, hence his nickname Bobby Bold. But the Bobby, who had done the impossible and survived the most dangerous waterfall in the world, lost his life in a very small and trivial accident. One day he was crossing a street in New Zealand. He put his foot on an orange skin and slipped. Bobby fell so hard that his leg bones broke in several different places. His broken leg was so bad that doctors had to amputate his leg. The amputation of the leg caused Bobby's leg wound to become infected and he finally died of gangrene a few days later!!
