He was a student of BKSP (Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan), an academic institution for sports. At an early age Sakib began to show extraordinary talent in Cricket. His ODI debut was against Zimbabwe in August 2006 when he was only 19 years old. His test debut was against India in May 2007. In the 2012 Asia Cup, Sakib scored 237 runs including three fifties and also took six wickets. His performance in the tournament earned him the best player award. In 2013 BPL Sakib was the most expensive player who got an·amount of USD 365000 from Dhaka Gladiators. He led his team to victory In 2014 according to ICC ranking Sakib is the best all-rounder in the world. He is a left handed bowler and batsman. I am charmed with his amazing bowling and batting style. Sakib became a Captain of Bangladesh National Cricket Team and now he is the Vice-captain.
