A hurricane is coming. It is supposed to affect only the coast states (north states). But some Mayors are closing the streets in the Capital and the nearby municipalities; classes are suspended... Although there will be some rain in my zone, I don't think it will hit us so bad. In general, everyone is taking it with a great sense of humor. My favorite doctor tweeted: "Time to train 💪🏻 so that tomorrow I can hold on to a pole and not be blown away by the Cyclone." 😂 Something that caught my attention is that everyone in the news and social media is calling it "cyclone", which I thought it was the same that a typhoon... And it is. But my curiosity won't leave me alone, so I googled it. And this is what I found on the National Geographic website: - If it occurrs in the North Atlantic, the Caribbean and in the northeastern region of the Pacific, it is called "Hurricane" - In the northwestern Pacific it is called "Typhoon" - In the southeastern region of the Indian Ocean, in the southwestern Pacific, in the northern part of the Indian Ocean, and in the southwestern part of the Indian Ocean it is called "Cyclone" Well, I just hope that we all stay safe until it's over. I suppose I won't be able to train outside the rest of the week, that's why I secured myself of going today (I've been a little lazy since friday).
