HEART TO HEART: TOO DELICATE

A friend of mine once told me a shocking story. This story happened to his only sister. It so happens that she fell in love with a young man who claims to also be in love with her and desires to marry her. They dated for 2 years and then he proposed so she took him home to meet her parents.

Being the only daughter of the home, her parents were so elated and they welcomed him home. Her father warmed up to him so much that he even took a loan from cooperative to buy a car so he can be using it for transportation business pending when he would get a good job.

This was 3 years ago and no they didn't end up married. The young man ran away with the car and on further investigation, it was discovered that this man is actually married with three children.

This is the story of many young ladies out there. Some even go as far as marrying the lady knowing fully well they have a wife and children somewhere and the poor lady only gets to find out at his death.

Why do men think it's a great idea to hide the fact that they are married? Why seek to deceive an unsuspecting young lady? This is becoming very common these days and it should really stop with this generation of ours. Why play hide and seek with your marriage?

Marriage should be honoured. If you marry a bad wife. It's your choice and you should learn to live with her. Sometimes, she may not even be bad but out of greed and selfishness, the man would still go out there lying and pretending to be single. If you aren't interested in staying married then why marry?

This is becoming unbecoming and it's no longer funny. Guys please, if you are married, stay married. Don't ever lie about your relationship status. Don't break a young woman's heart who only seeks to love and be loved in return. It's just not fair.

You hardly see a married woman lie that she isn't married. Why can't men do the same?
