Taunsa Barrage is a flood on the River Indus in Taunsa Tehsil of Dera Ghazi Khan District, Punjab region of Pakistan.[1] It is arranged 20 kilometers (12 miles) southeast of Taunsa Sharif and 16 kilometers (9.9 miles) from Kot Addu. This torrent controls water stream in the River Indus for water system and flood control purposes. Taunsa Barrage was assigned a Ramsar site on 22 March 1996.

This flood serves 2.351 million sections of land (951,400 hectares) of land other than occupying streams from Indus River to the Chenab River through Taunsa-Panjnad Link Canal (TP Link Canal). The torrent additionally fills in as a blood vessel street connect, a railroad scaffold, and intersection for gas and oil pipelines, phone line and additional high voltage (EHV) transmission lines.[3]

Being close and observing a river is very relaxing, and in reality I compare it as the circulatory system of our body, they are like the veins, arteries and vessels that pass and nourish all over the earth, I would like to know what the heart will be. Maybe it's the sea.
