There is a country This country is getting old but it never grows This country is killing my beautiful dreams Slaughtering my visions and missions with her trenchant knife. A Trillion naira country! A Trillion naira for the budget A Trillion naira for the Baron of incompetents A Trillion naira for the projects but a Trillion abandoned projects. A Trillion naira for the contractors A Trillion naira for the Senators A Trillion naira as their wardrobe allowance A Trillion lies from their agendas and manifestoes A Trillion people gullible to the Trillion promises. A Trillion potholes on the Trillion naira roads A Trillion naira for the water projects A Trillion people suffering from the water scarcity. A Trillion lies in the national budget A Trillion citizens wallowing in poverty and penury. A Trillion naira for security and protection yet a Trillion time cases of Robbery. A Trillion dreams forfeited in a Trillion times A Trillion half baked cake produced from the Trillion naira schools. A Trillion things I can't say because of a Trillion bullets A Trillion naira country, that kills my dreams, in the ocean of penury!!!
