Chicken bun

Hello everyone.this is aklimashahedchowdhury here again with a new recipe.i love cooking and in cooking one of my favourite part is baking..though i dont have oven i try all the baking recipe in stove.and i think a great cooker is one who make the food delicious with little ingredients with little privileges..in developing country like bangladesh most of the people cant afford electric micro oven..thats why i am sharing this recipe with you..i hope you will like it..

Ingredients:

For bun:

All purpose flour:2 cup

Yeast:2 tbsp

Sugar:1 tbsp

Milk:half cup

Oil or melted butter:1 tbsp

Pinch of salt

For chicken filling:

Boiled and shredded chicken:1 cup

Onion fine chopped:1 cup

Red chill powder:1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder:half tea spoon

Cumin powder:1 tea spoon

Coriander powder:1 teaspoon

Salt:as per your taste

Tomato sauce:2 teaspoon

Procedure: at 1st for bun dough, mix the all dry ingredients.. add milk slowly and mix them well..when the dough will be sticky it is perfect consistency..knead the dough for 6-7 minute..more you will knead the dough, more bun will be perfect.keep aside it in a warm place by covering with a tight lid for 2 hours...in mean time it will turns into double for fermentation..

For chicken filling: heat the oil in a pan ,pour the chopped onion and stir fry it..after some time when onion becomes soft ,add the all spice ingredients and shredded chicken..add tomato sauce and do mix well..after sometime when the all spice combined together off the flame and chicken filling is ready

Now ,after 2 hours take the bun dough and knead it again so that the gas between in it comes out.and divided into 5 round pieces.then make a hole and add the chicken filling on it.then seal the hole and make a round shape or bun shape.like this all should do..

keep them in a round cake mould.place a butter paper or brush oil in the mould before keeping.and cover the mould by a lid or clean piece of cloth for 20 minute in a warm place so that it turn into double size again.after 20 minute brush the milk in above surface of bun so that a nice brown colour come.(here i did on the stove thats why the colour of the upper surface not came..but for colour i baked the side for 5 minute)(tips for you)

Take a pan and preheated it for 1o minute.after 10 minute place a stand and set the mould in it..then bake it in medium low flame for 20-30 minute.and tannnn tannnnnnna chicken bun is ready.....
