Black ink or blue ink? Which must prevail in memorizing?

We tend to overlook black because it is the most common color we see (in every shadow, in every crevice, and in every object), and unless we notice something else that indicates it is something worth paying attention to, it is very easy to pass it by without noticing. When it does appear in nature, blue is a color that deserves to be noticed because it is a color that is not commonly found there. Despite the fact that I believe there is a statistical correlation between writing with blue or black ink on a regular basis and being more creative, I seriously doubt that there is one. In the case of any kind of attention-getting effect or psychological advantage, you would quickly become desensitized to it if you were repeatedly exposed.

A greater impact would almost certainly be achieved by using a variety of colors and correlating them to different subjects, note types, and other patterns rather than simply using a blue or black pen.

The use of different colors of ink when writing was actually associated with different levels of seniority or authoritativeness of the material being written in many different fields of study. Colors were assigned based on their function: blue was the standard "worker bee" color, while black was reserved for managers and green was either an intern color or a color reserved for senior managers depending on the field or office. The result would be the ability to tell right away how much authority a note had, as well as the amount of authority each signature possessed on the note itself. A large number of blue pens were kept on hand, with much smaller quantities of other colors such as red and light blue also kept on hand as backups for emergencies.
