It was getting late. Even the clock ticked to 00.00. The house was quiet, even all the lights were off. But my eyes are still fresh, there is no sign of sleepiness at all.

In fact, I usually wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall asleep anymore. The next day I woke up late and wasn't feeling well.

Starting from that situation, while im going through the day, it tends to be emotional and my concentration decreases. Its difficult to spend the rest of the time. Maybe because the time management isn't proportional.

Are any of you also living everyday like me?

Well, if you're in the same situation, it means we are both experiencing INSOMNIA.

Insomnia usually has several symptoms, such as:

  • Legs that move on their own when you wanna sleep

  • Breathing abnormally during sleep

  • Have nightmares, fear, scream, or walk while sleeping.

  • Snoring, choking, gritting your teeth, or stopping breathing for a moment, while sleeping.

  • Feeling unable to move the body when you wake up.

  • Tingling or feeling a sensation that radiates to the hands and feet.

  • Muscles feel weak or often feel tired and weak

Wow, the symptoms of insomnia are pretty bad, right? Do you experience it too guys?

I hope not. But if any of you experience these symptoms as well, it's really obligatory to keep listening to this post.

Ok, then let's find out, what is the cause of this insomnia?

Insomnia can be caused by several factors such as:

  • Lifestyle.

    We may have bad habits before going to bed. Like continuing to play gadgets, listening to music with a fast and loud bit, or still interacting with other people before taking a break.

  • Mental Disorders.

    Mental disorders aren't always related to mental problems. But it can also be due to stress, depression, full thoughts that aren't trying to be unraveled, harboring bad feelings for certain situations, yourself or others.

  • Particular Disease.

    For example, gerd, anxiety, or related to pineal gland disorders.

Experiencing insomnia is definitely not good. It feels like life isn't normal and affects our activities. But I'm sure, this condition will not last long if you have the determination to solve it.

Of course you want to be productive, happy people and can enjoy life.

If the saying goes "many roads lead to rome." I say "Many ways to cure one life problem," so enjoy your life guys.

Okay, lets we continue it. Here are things you can try to overcome insomnia. Check it out, guys!

  1. Try to choose a balanced nutritional intake. Which all your nutritional needs are met. Such as carbohydrates, fiber, minerals, protein and fat. In addition, avoid consuming food or drinks that contain caffeine and alcohol

    It's true, you better eat fruit and vegetables to be healthier.

    Drinking a glass of warm milk before bed is also good for relaxing tense nerves. Likewise, if you try to take a warm bath, it's good for relaxation.

  2. To lose fat and burn calories, you need to move!

    Believe me, if these two substances are properly hydrated, it's guaranteed that the body and mind are more relaxed, so that the body's cells function properly.

    Exercise can also improve blood circulation, and this has a good effect on a more balanced sleep pattern.

    So, if you really want to exercise, you should do weight training first. Then the cardio. Let the concept of an ideal body not be just a dream.

  1. And of course you need to adopt a healthy lifestyle, such as reducing smoking habits.
