I'll run a quick geography and history lessons of this amazing veitnam, for starter ,it is located in Southeast Asia on the eastern edge of the peninsula known as Indochina.
Its neighbors include China to the north and Laos and Cambodia to the west and it also shares maritime borders with Thailand through the Gulf of Thailand, Philippines , Indonesia , and Malaysia through the South China Sea which lies to the east and south. And of course, the mountains of the Annam Cordillera rise over most of the western side of Vietnam. It has an area of 311,699 square kilometres (120,348 sq mi) and population of 96 million, making it the fifteenth-most populous country in the world . Its capital city is no other than HANOI and it's largest city is HO CHI MINH City..
Vietnam was occupied by the Chinese for over 1000 years - until 938 AD. Vietnam was then independent until the mid 19th century when it was colonised by the French. It was then occupied by Japan during World
War II. In 1945, independence from France was declared and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was born. In 1946, the first National Assembly election, which adopted its first Constitution. Regardless the French tried to regain power by force which led to the Vietnam War I (1946-1954). After the defeat
of France in 1954, the country was divided into the North and the South. The South was named the Republic of Vietnam; while the north, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The intervention of the United States led to Vietnam War II. This war which ended in 1975 which also led to the unification of the country.
As of now vietnam is a one-party state under the control of the Communist Party of Vietnam, which plays a central role in shaping the country's policy and legal system. The National Assembly of Viet Nam is the highest-level representative body of the people. This body has the supreme supervisory power to oversee all government functions and the implementation of the constitution and laws. It elects the President, who becomes the head of state and commander-in-chief as well as other positions necessary for the proper functioning of the country.
now let's move to the fun part!!
Things to look out for in vietnam
there are obviously more than a thousand things to look out for in every country or every new place you visit, but I'll pinpoint only a few for today...
THE PEOPLE
The vietnamese people have been tagged as one of the most friendly and hospitable people even to strangers. they don't mind giving out a hand when needed, though most times are likely to have less interactions with foreigners due to language barriers as the numbers of English speakers have not heightened as a result of veitnamnese being the general language. so if they are warmly and welcoming that's a score.. although there are chances you might be taken advantaged of if you're unlucky, so be careful..
NATURE AND TOURIST SITES
We cannot deny the fact that vietnam has some the most facinating tourist tourist sites and natural wonders which makes it a worth a visit. It includes places like the:

Fashion in Vietnam differs between cities and towns. The traditional Vietnamese outfit in the city is a little different. For the men, it is simple shirts and white pants, accompanied by a headdress, which is just a cloth draped around the head. For the formal occasions they just add a long robe with cuts on both sides and a turban, to their daily clothes.
Young women in the cities wear short shirts of light brown color and long black skirts. - A silk shirt and trouser worn by the Southern locals, which is called Ao Ba Ba.This is fashion in Vietnam at its elegant best. Moreover, to add to this Vietnamese women also wear a palm hat, which is tapering in shape and is called Non Bai. Áo Dài, the national dress of Vietnam actually means a “long dress”. It has been in existence for ages, from the beginning of the 18th century. Originally it was called Ao Ngu Than.
