We make sometimes some objections about our health, about our face, about whate we are. We think if I were like him/ her I could do these/ those/ that bla bla bla.

But we have to think his / her situation. May be he / she is not happy what he / she has!! Let me tell a story...

There was a crow. He was not happy with his appearance. He was sitting on a tree branch crying, why he is ugly! There was a monk father under that tree.He saw the crow crying and asked the crow why he was crying. The crow complained about his structure, no one loves him, chases him wherever he goes.The monk then said, "Well then what would you like to be?" The crow replied, "Duck." The monk said, "Okay, I will make you a duck, but one condition is to go to the duck first and see if he is happy." The crow went to the duck. The duck said he was not happy, it was a color of the skin! White. The two then came to the monk. The monk asked the duck what the duck wanted to be? The duck replied, "Parrot." The monk said, "Okay, I'll make you parrot." But the condition is the same, first go and hear from parrot if he is happy. There were many parrot in a tree. They both went to that tree and saw a parrot in two or three rounds.They asked parrot if he was happy! Parrot replied, "No. It's a color! Green! If it's in a tree, it blends with the leaves.No one can understand that I am in the tree."

So we have to be happy with what we have.

বাংলায় গল্পটি হলো-

এক কাক ছিলো। সে তার অবয়বে খুশি ছিলো না। সে গাছের ডালে বসে কাঁদছিল, কেনো সে কুৎসিত! সেই গাছের নিচে ছিলো এক সন্ন্যাসী বাবা। সে কাকের কান্না দেখে কাককে জিজ্ঞেস করলো সে কেন কাঁদছে। কাক অভিযোগ করলো তার গঠন নিয়ে, কেউ তাকে ভালোবাসে না, যেখানেই যায় তাকে তাড়িয়ে দেয়। সন্ন্যাসী তখন বললেন, "আচ্ছা তুমি তাহলে কি হতে পছন্দ করবে?" কাক জবাব দিলো," হাঁস ।" সন্ন্যাসী বললেন, ঠিক আছে তোমাকে হাঁস বানাবো কিন্তু একটা শর্ত, যাও আগে হাঁসের কাছে যাও,শুনে আসো সে খুশি আছে কিনা। কাক হাঁসের কাছে গেলো। হাঁস জানালো সেও খুশি নেই,গায়ের এটা কোনো রং হলো!! সাদা। দুইজনে তখন চলে আসলো সন্ন্যাসীর কাছে। সন্ন্যাসী হাঁসকে জিজ্ঞেস করলো হাঁস কি হতে চায়? হাঁস জবাব দিলো," টিয়া।"সন্ন্যাসী বললো ঠিক আছে,তোমাদেরকে আমি টিয়া বানায় দিবো। কিন্তু শর্ত একটাই, যাও আগে টিয়ার কাছে শুনে আসো সে খুশি আছে কিনা।একটা গাছে অনেকগুলো টিয়া থাকতো।তারা দুইজনই ওই গাছে গিয়ে দুই তিন চক্কর লাগায়ে একটা টিয়া দেখতে পেলো। তারা টিয়া কে জিজ্ঞেস করলো সে খুশি আছে কিনা! টিয়া জবাব দিলো, "না। এটা কোনো রং হলো! সবুজ! গাছের মধ্যে থাকলে পাতার সাথে মিশে যাই।কেউ বুঝতেই পারে না আমি গাছে আছি।"

তাই আমাদের যা আছে তাতেই খুশি থাকতে হবে।
