Did you ever experience riding in a trolley? Or do you know what is trolley? This is not the common trolley that we see from the malls and grocery shops.
This trolley is the mean of transportation and earn for a living of people living near the national railroad, I know its common only on the philippines coz on the other country they dont allow people to build a house near yhe railways( iba ka pinas diba haha)
Trolley is made of woods(dos por dos yta ung iba not sure) and some durable type of woods and it's operated with gasoline also but with the help of human strength coz they need to pull a piece of strings and wait for the engine to start and even the engine starts you still need to push the trolley manually using you feet(ung parang nagscooter ka ganern)
The trolley has a bearing that serves us tires of it and it will be place on the top of railways, once the trolley is moving it's like they are igniting and it cause noise kaya medyo mabibingi ka if maselan ka hehe.

My first ever experience riding a trolley is when the surge of covid pandemic. Why I choose to ride the trolley because of the main reason of fare itself, the fare in a trolley cost 20pesos only coz you are not the only passenger unlike if you choose to ride on a tricke that has limited passenger about 2passenger only or worst you are alone then the fare that you need to shoulder is about 125pesos (ang laki ng difference diba)it's a huge amount right, then if you have to ride back and forth its almost ₱250(panggrocery na din un hihi) so we need to be practical in this aspects.
Now let me share my experience riding in a trolley, when I sit on it I was like feeling excited and at the same time nervous, then when the driver pull the strings the engine starts it's a signal that out trip will start, so I hold on tight and it was moving slowly until the normal speed and while on the trip medyo maingay coz of the ignition of the two metals(the bearing and and the railways) but I enjoyed also coz the view is very relaxing coz some parts are ricefields and trees but some areas are the houses of people who lives near the railroad and the kids are sometimes playing on the railways kaya medyo risky din so the driver should be a bit careful din since they dont have a busina to alert the kids that are playing.
Since the railway is single type only so we have this called bigayan. Just like what I experience, while we are on the trip another trolley is coming and since we are just passenger and no excess baggage we have to give ways to the other trolley which carried many baggage, we move out of the side ways of the railroad and the driver of the trolley carry the trolley and move out also of the railways so the other trolley can passed by and after we get back to the trolley and travel again and same scenario will happened many times depend on the trolley that is on the railways dun medyo nagtatagal ang biyahe.

Riding in these type of transportation is another exciting part that we can share to others and also to our kids, it was indeed a happy and memorable experience.
Right now we have PNR that travel from San Pablo to Lucena city and still the trolley is there as means of transportation but I think it is limited and they based on the PNR travel time.
Maybe next time I will share my experience ridinh in PNR here in the province, coz I only experience before in Manila when I was applying in agency. I know theres a bit difference but lets wait and see after I tried it.

I've never ridden a trolley let alone a train but have seen this often when they use it in mines.
