This mosque is just a few meters away from our house and we can hear their prayers because they are using a horn speakers and I love it. I miss to shoot like this. This was our DIY pre-wedding photos. I am the one who took these photos and with the help of tripod and remote shutter button. Our food trip for today: blue rice or they called it here in Malaysia as Nasi Kerabu. It's blue because of the butterfly pea flowers, along with fried chicken, coconut, egg and more. I love eating this with my hand and there is an option if you want extra spicy. I'm lucky that they separate the chili sauce. In the Philippines, we didn't plant it in our front yard because we believed that it's a flower for the dead and we can find it growing abundantly in our old cemeteries. We invited other Filipinos in the house and my housemate prepared a "beef pares" and "siomai". It's raining heavily now here and the hot soup is so perfect for the weather. The beef is so delicous and I preferred to eat with the fried rice though. It's a simple meal but it's great having some chit chats with fellow pinoys. I used to shoot macro these days as I am seriously practicing it. But there are times that my hands are shaking and I cannot focus properly. Like on these photos, I decided not to shoot macro. For the second time, I got the chance to take some photos of the rain droplets of the bamboos in the guardhouse of our neighborhood. I took these photos while waiting for my local friend to deliver my "lansones" fruit fresh from their farm. I saw this passion fruit at the road side and I picked one after taking a photo of it and tried to taste it. I ate this during my childhood days and it's the same taste as before: sweet and sour. Done hiking. From 6:30am to 11am. A bit tired but it's all worth it. The trail wasn't that difficult but it's slippery and I am taking pictures also most of the time. It's good also to hike during weekdays because not too much hikers there. My 3-year old daughter is having her home schooling now with her cousins. She's always excited to attend the class most especially when she got a new uniform. She loves to wear a head band too like a princess. Their Auntie (my sister) is their teacher. She knows how to write her name already, can count, knows the ABC and can read some words. I saw this Lantana plant with blooming flowers during our hiking. We call it "kanding-kanding". I love its minty smell and it has a different colors that really catches my attention.
