We Filipinos really loved celebrating Christmas. We started to celebrate this from the month of September until December. Decorations, such as Christmas trees and colorful lanterns were seen in every house as well as in the streets.
We also prepare gifts for our loved ones and share blessings among children. During Christmas Day, every family gathered in their home to celebrate it. Filipinos always prepare food to eat such as pancit, ham, barbeque, spaghetti, lechon, salad and many more. These foods can always be seen during christmas day. Most of the families attended mass and give thanks for all the blessings that was given to them everyday. That's how Filipinos celebrate Christmas.
But this year's Christmas is different from any other Christmas we had been celebrated. Why? It's simply because many things happened this year. There were many typhoons, earthquake, volcanic eruption as well as the pandemic occurred. Though there were many challenges tested us, we need keep on fighting and continue our life. This year's Christmas may be different to any other Christmas but we can definitely say that this is still special. We can come to the realization that despite of all the things occurred we are still blessed and be grateful for it.
