Fauziyya Sani, a 14-year-old girl from Zamfara state in Northern Nigeria, underwent hand amputation due to her inability to afford medical treatment.
She sustained a fracture, but her father delayed seeking assistance until her hand deteriorated. Eventually, a benevolent individual took them to the hospital; however, amputation became necessary.
Fauziyya, who completed primary education three years ago, aspires to continue her studies with support.
May she achieve a full recovery, and may those facing health challenges be blessed with well-being.
