Defination: The study of absorption, distribution, biotransformation (drug metabolism & excretion of drug is called pharmacokinetics The word pharmacokinetic is derived from Greek words Pharmakon (meaning drug) and Kinein (meaning to move'). Simply pharmacokinetics means 'What the body does to the drug?
**Pharmacokinetic processes**: ****A) Input processes:**** ✔Routes of administration. ✔Drug absorption. ✔Bioavailability. ✔Drug distribution.
****B) Output processes:**** Biotransformation or metabolism. Drug excretion.
