Burning Issue:Drug resistant

Last year, I heard about a 10 month old baby was resistance to almost all antibiotics.this is really matter of sorrow

So we should counsel people as much as we can.this is the onle way to get ride of it

This Is also Risk for our next genaretion...We will suffer because we r making mistake but they will suffer without anything

Drug failed to reach the target If the target is intracellular and drug requires active transport to cross the membrane.

-a mutation that stop this transporter & cause resistance .e.g.

gentamicin/AminoGlycoside

Aminoglycoside need 02 dependent transporter to enter the cell, so if muted to the transporter occurs, then develops Resistance.

The drug is inactivated ; • Resistance occurs due to production of enzyme by microorganism.

E.g. beta lactam antibiotic-bacteria produce beta lactamase enzyme which cause breakdown of beta lactam ring of penicillin thus inactivation of drug.

i don't agree with your opinion about Pharmacist. As you will see most of the medicine shop is maintained by local shopkeepers. They have no any pharmacological knowledge.
