Bitcoin.com wallet was founded in 2008. It is a cryptocurrency wallet that allows you to buy, sell, store, swap, send and receive cryptocurrency. Millions of people use it all over the world.
Chivo wallet
The president of El Salvador Nayib bukele is a young and optimistic man who has a lot of interest in cryptocurrency.
On the 7th of September 2021, the president launched chivo wallet. So chivo wallet is now the official Bitcoin wallet of the Government of El Salvador.
According to the description of the app on Google Play Store, Chivo connects with the banking system of El Salvador to deposit or withdraw dollars from the platform.
Chivo wallet is better than Bitcoin.com?
This is a fallacy and untrue narrative. It is just a mere imagination and wrong belief without an author. Chiva wallet is just a newborn wallet and can not in any way be compared to Bitcoin.com which has been in existence over 13 years ago. If the think the myth is a fact below are the reasons why Bitcoin.com is better than Chivo wallet.
Reasons why Bitcoin.com Is better than Chivo wallet
Chivo wallet has less than 2 million downloads currently. Forty-six 46% of El Salvadorans use the wallet. Even if the remaining percentage of the country downloads the wallet app, bitcoin.com's number of downloads will still be miles ahead of it.
Nonetheless, Bitcoin.com is a privately owned cryptocurrency software. Unlike chivo wallet which is being controlled by the government. Users of bitcoin.com have no fear of the app being banned. The government of El Salvador can ban the use of the wallet anytime
Currently, Bitcoin.com can be used to buy, sell, and swap Bitcoin cash (BCH), Bitcoin (BTC), Etherum( ETH). While chivo wallet is known for Bitcoin alone.
Lots of languages are available in the Bitcoin.com wallet, which makes it easy for non-English countries to use.
Bitcoin.com has over 5million downloads and had been the number one wallet choice of people around the world.
Most importantly Chivo wallet is limited to El Salvadorans, while Bitcoin.com is open for millions of people around the world to use. Now tell me, an app that is being used all over the world is being compared to a National wallet, it's obvious it's a myth saying Chivo wallet is better than bitcoin.com wallet.
Limitations of chivo wallet
It is not available in all countries, it was created for the El Salvadorans
It is a newly launched wallet and is not yet known by the world.
Chivo wallet rating is currently low on app stores. The last time I checked the Google Play store, its rating was 2.6
In one of the reviews of a chivo wallet user was logging in problem. Which means they still have some bugs to fix.
My conclusion:
The belief that the Chivo wallet is better than the bitcoin.com wallet is a myth. A false idea and belief.
With all of the above-mentioned differences and limitations of the Chivo wallet, I hope you are convinced that the Bitcoin.com wallet is better than the Chivo wallet.
