Sleepwalking (somnumbalism) is a behavioral disorder during deep sleep that results in doing complex behavior while still mostly asleep.
The causes of sleepwalking are as follows:
Genetics
Sleep deprivation
Alcohol drinking
Brain injury
Stress
Treatment is not required in sleepwalking. There are numbers of approaches in the treatment palng because during this episodes of sleepwalking may cause accidents.
Here are some ways to prevent sleepwalking:
Keeping sharp object out of reach
Always close door and window
Removing unnecessary things on the floor to avoid tripping
Installing lights with motion sensor
You should ask your physician if sleepwalking is getting more often.
