Your faith or Christian life can be effective towards the degree of the knowledge of God's word you have. You cannot be more effective as a Christian beyond the knowledge of the things that are available for you in Christ.
It is not how long you have been saved that matters, it is how equipped you are and how you make your life counts as a believer. The word of God is sufficient for everyone. Appreciate God's word as a reality.
Philemon 1:4-6 says,I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayer. Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
What are the good things in us Apostle Paul wants us to acknowledge?
Ephesians 1:3-16 answer it all. The Bible make us to understand that we've received all spiritual Blessings in heavenly place.
*He chose us before the foundation of the world
*He make us holy and blamless
*He forgave us by shedding the blood of His son
*He sealed us with the holy Spirit of promise
All these things are freely given to us without we paying any dime.
