Wearing a mask in a wrong way to protect against Covid is like wearing a condom in a wrong way to prevent pregnancy!

After reading the above, I remembered reading an anecdote on correct use of condom...a lady volunteer had gone to progate use of condom (which the government was promoting in a big way) in a village in North India which had highest birth rate.

She organized a meeting for all the fertile males in the village and explained to them the demerits of population explosion and importance of birth control, need to use contraceptives. Finally she demonstrated the use of condom by simulation, i.e. by opening it and sliding it over her in a correct manner. All the villagers promised her that they will all surely use condoms.

After one year, it was found that this particular village had the highest birth rate in entire country. Naturally disturbed, the lady volunteer went to the village and called all the adult males for a meeting, and after reprimanding them, asked them as to why they were not following instructions and not using condom as they had promised. The villagers looked stunned, glanced at each other and ....,. raised their index finger and said that THEY HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR PAST ONE YEAR 24/7 AND THEY STILL HAVE IT ON THEIR FINGER!!!!
