Should you fall in "Love" or not?

Love, they say, is the most beautiful emotion that the mankind has ever known. But it is also said that "everything is fair in love and war" - so what exactly does this phrase mean? Is it right to compare love with war?

For me love is a double-edged sword, because once you fall in love with someone, the world becomes a truly beautiful place. You become so much intoxicated with this emotion that you forget everything else and want to spend all your time with this love of your life. But just like how all good things come to an end, so does love. The person whom you love also changes with time and he/she is no longer what they used to be before with passage of time. And, when you come to know that this love of your life is no longer in love with you, it really shatters your heart. It can lead to depression and plethora of mental illnesses.

So the emotion of love which once upon a time acted as a great healer and motivator, now turns out to be your nemesis!

Have you ever been in love and ditched by your lover? What do you have to say about falling in love?

Beautiful article. You raised a concern and a question which you also have provided the answer too.

Well in love everything that can keep the love is fair, and likewise in war, everything possible that can bring victory is fair.

It’s hard to to convince a person in love, likewise a person in war.

During Biafra vs Nigeria war in my country, one group (Nigeria) came up with seizures of food that goes to their rivals (we the Biafra) because they’re in charge of food then. They justified that evil act and from it cause a genocide that could be remembered forever.

Biafrans are indigenous people seeking for their freedom in Nigeria.
