At least as far as I am concerned, the whole concept of 'settling down' is misleading to say the least.
We invariably think we will settle down after finishing our studies, but does it ever happen that way? The answer is "no".
Then, maybe after marriage (seriously??), again the answer is negative.
Finally, we think we might settle down after being successful - which again doesn't happen.
What about after having kids or after the kids have grown up - again I don't think so.
What I have learned from my personal experience is that life is not meant to settle down, but is meant to do more important things such as to learn, to explore new things, to love, to be loved. Life is also meant to lose, to unlearn, to fail, to rebel; but most importantly TO LIVE.
Remember, that after our death even our ashes do not settle, instead they "fly away in all directions." - that's what life is all about!
Nothing will be fixed in our life If you can reach one goal, another goal will come
