I have been reading manga for a long time. And one of my favorites are those with with interesting names. Manga's name is really important in capturing the public's curiosity and some example of that are these popular ones;
Shingeki no Kyojin
Bleach
Fullmetal Alchemist
Death Note
One Punch-Man
Tokyo Ghoul
Naruto
Berserk
One Piece
So have you noticed that most of the popular manga titles are composed of only 1-3 words. So why naming in manga is very important? And what it must possess in order succeed in the world manga competition.
Names in manga is important for both publisher and readers. It should be attractable enough to capture the attention of readers. They should be easy to remember so that it is easy to advertise and cannot be easily forgotten. Who would want to bother memorize a manga whose name is long enough that it might be comparable to essays. And of course the title must make sense and reflect the story and plot of the manga itself without spoiling something to readers.
And guess what, lately I've seen several manga with weird names. I find it funny and interesting at the same time. In the world where big names in manga are clashing for the title of top selling spot, you enter right to the battlefield with that weird title of yours. I'm not saying that manga should keep their titles short and neat, they should think of it carefully.

Suppose a Kid From the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town
I know Isekai genre is dying and authors are doing their best to make something new and interesting. But how can this change the situation if the title turn out like this? I don't know if it is the title or the synopsis of the story but I guess I should try reading this out. I will not expect anything about this because almost every Isekai anime failed to entertain me. Nevertheless the title itself is not that bad and I hope my time will not wasted in this one.
A Romantic Comedy Where the Childhood Friend Absolutely Will Not Lose
Should I read this one? What the hell with that title? Except for it is very long, it also spoils the conclusion. Well I guess I should still read this. I have enough with "childhood friends always get rejected" plot (especially Onodera ☹️) . I just hope that the story will never gets annoying like Oresuki.
The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You
Rom-Com titles are getting more weird lately. And not just the title but also the plot are evolving into something that even I can't understand. Well I guess it is just the marketing style for the series, lets just read it to know if the title really justify the content.
I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level
Another Isekai with weird name. I know that "That Time I got Reincarnated as Slime" manga is a success but what the hell with this? Slimes and reincarnation plus overpowering is pretty common in most Isekai manga. What will I expect from this except from fanservice?
I Shave My Beard. Then I Pick Up a High School Girl
Men I think I'm dying from laughter (Obviously Exaggerating). The naming of manga this days is on another level. I can't say if it is effective marketing though, but let them be, they enjoy making weird titles and here I am happily reading their works.
I Married My Best Friend To Shut My Parents Up
Now I just noticed something. Most of the titles in this list is just like the titles in Adult Video Sites (hahahah). I think most authors nowadays get addicted with that, then they just applied it in their works. What happen with the cool naming in Rom-Com anime/manga like Nisekoi (False Love) or Koi to Uso (Love and Lies).

I don't know what's happening with the naming in manga lately but I just hope they will fix this. Weird and Unique names might be good in marketing but just make sure it is reader friendly and make sense at all.
Hahahaha. That's weird title bro. But I know their is inside story between the title. It's depends to the authors taste, just like you said, they need unique title just like the plaque of the store of businessman. To easy remember, they a weird title to their own hardwork.
