My collection of books in English
Hello, dear friend of Read Cash!
I have been a collector since I was a child, and my first collection is coins. Then I started with bills, and then, books.
I currently have a modest amount. There is little space at home, and I don't have shelves, so there are some here and some there. But, always organized, and very well cared for.
All my books are in Spanish, which is the official language of my country, Venezuela. But, something happened, I found books on sale a few months ago.
There was only one detail in them, they are in English, and I don't speak the language.
I bought them in the same way, because here we have no fear of life. They sold 5 books for $1. An offer, there was little, all about interesting stories (although I didn't know what the covers said). I took them, went to the register, and paid for them.
So I will also start collecting books in English. These are a little difficult to find in my country, because it is not the language that is spoken. However, whenever I see an opportunity, I will take it.
What will I do with them?
I'm learning English with Duolingo. I want to know how to read, speak, and write the language.
So I'm going to start reading them little by little starting this new week that begins. I have already advanced a little in my classes, so I feel confident.
In addition to this, I have seen a video on Instagram where they show that reading at least 5 pages a day, writing unknown words that you find in the text, and pronouncing them out loud, helps you advance.
So that's what I'll do.
And you, are you learning a new language? Or, do you have a book collection? have you read any of them?
If you want to read them along with me, I leave you my Amazon Affiliate link for each of them, below their photographs, in the blue letters.
