SCARED OF CRYPTO?

Many see Crypto as a big giant lol. I did. This is was me some years back. Was I scared? NO! I just didn’t understand a thing about it. Do you know that feeling of sitting for a lecture of about an hour yet at the end of it all, you realize you learned nothing, I mean a single thing? This was how it was or should I say felt with me. Don’t blame me and I won’t blame you either if you are scared of the so-called CRYPTO or better still cryptocurrency.

Can I tell you my story about Crypto and how I sluggishly began?.
I wouldn't really go into details because it's a story for another day but I will give you a headlight about it and in case you wanna apply a similar strategy.

My Crypto Story, How It Started

Yes, I was young and naive. I just finished my secondary education and I had nothing to do. I was introduced to a crypto platform called Steemit. The journey started back in 2018, not long enough right? I know. I have only been in the crypto world for two years now. But I have become a changed and better person in the last two years. I remember how I started, my challenges and struggles, and today I am a little bit advanced than when I started.

I was worried, what would I say to the people. What was I going to write when I knew nothing about crypto? I thought about it for days even after making my introduction post, it took a while before I started writing and blogging on the platform. But guess what? Do you wanna know how I started?

I was encouraged and told to start with what I loved most, the things I love doing. I was to share those things and see the responses I would get. And you know that feeling of doing what you love? That is exactly what it was.

The little naive and scared girl started sharing her lame works and articles, at least that is what she thought they were.
From there I started getting more eyes on my blog post and I started reading and learning from others about Crypto and how certain things work.

And again I found another blogging platform called UPTRENND and it got even better. The interaction I lacked on steemit, I found it on Uptrennd, the connections and feeling of belonging I didn’t get on steemit, I had it on uptrennd (Which sadly would soon be history).
I was taught the spirit of engagement and communication with the community member.
The more I kept blogging and engaging, the more my knowledge about crypto broadened and I learned most of the things I didn't know two years ago
I became a registered member on uptrennd in May 2020.

I found another blogging site. I was introduced to read.cash last year 2020 as well and the journey on cryptocurrency widened the more.
I kept writing, reading, and sharing my articles.
And so far so good, the journey had been an awesome experience for me. I had unlearned and relearned many things, widened my scope and knowledge about most of the things I was struggling with or finding difficult to understand. And now I am getting even better which I know.

I didn't do all this on my own, No!. It was with the help of many people both experienced people in the field and even those in the learning process.
If I could excel and become better with a fair knowledge about Cryptocurrency than what I used to know when I started back in the days then I believe anyone can as well. Anyone can become better so there is no need to be scared.

I know many of my friends who know nothing about cryptocurrency and some of them who are scared because they feel since it's digital money and not a fiat currency that its a scam or fake and because of that some of them are in doubt even those who have good articles to share with people.

The Way Out! What To Do?

From my experience so far, the best way to start and be guided is by starting from what you know.
Thank God for different crypto blogging sites that welcome all kinds of articles and contents.

For crypto blogging, start sharing your articles about what you know and what you can offer.
Secondly, engage, interact and communicate with the community or any platform you find yourself.

It is one thing to have articles set up to be published with others but remember that it's also people who are there to receive and read your article to even think of giving it a thumb up.
When you interact with others and communicate with them, you create an audience for yourself and a sense of belonging.
This helps reduces your fear of cryptocurrency and gives you a chance to ask questions where you don't understand a particular thing.

Seeing Crypto as a threatening giant as I saw it won't help you in any way. I never would have known most of the things I have learned and know now if I was still living in my fear of cryptocurrency.

Step out of your comfort zone if you wanna learn something new, accept cryptocurrency and be open to learning. Asking questions is one of the sure ways to learning fast and growing your capacity as well.
Make an effort to interact and communicate with the community members wherever you may find yourself and everything is gonna work out for you.

I hope this article was helpful to anyone out there.
Thank you for checking out my blog post today.
Every comment, upvote, and reblog is very much welcome and appreciated.
