The benefits of an empathic life

0 38

There's a rumor going around that being sensitive is being weak. I guess the beauty of rumors is that they turn out to be the opposite of what we think. This is especially the case with empathy. I came into this world as an empath and I'm not weak at all: my life path is not for cowards, but of course the world has a different effect on me than it does on others.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been irritable because of my awareness of the need for a better sustained world. But because I didn't have the tools to understand why I was so hot-tempered, I had trouble dealing with my sensitivity to the world around me and my exuberance in my relationships that led me astray.

Like the rest of the hypersensitive population (about 10%), I feel more than other people. Hypersensitive people are empathic. They instinctively feel the emotions and energies of others and are drawn to them. Their intuition is very strong, they have a level of compassion and understanding that drives them to service to others and the world. The phrase "I feel your pain" is true for them.

Thanks to the social situation that denigrates, dulls, and pushes away feelings and emotions, we "sensitive" people have become afraid to feel even a little bit. But not being aware of our feelings means that we are disconnected from our own internal GPS... It means that we don't know what is best for us. Every choice we make is influenced by this, from the food we eat, to the relationships we form, to the work we should do. The hypersensitive person has no choice but to feel.

When my body, my feelings and my perceptions are subjected to the average American's habits of eating, medicating, being entertained by fear-based media/television, every aspect of my life goes downhill - my health, my relationships, my happiness is affected.

For those who are more sensitive than others to the energy around them, even to what they eat, being in the current state of the world is quite challenging. But at the same time it is a gift. Because when their body reacts to things that have no benefit, they become aware of it, and years later, they are able to prevent serious conditions that can be caused by the work, by the harmful diet.

What I see in all of my clients who are in the hypersensitive category is that they all have a drive to eat healthier, to find more positive ways of having fun, and to benefit the environment and the whole through their work.

The truth is that to be overly sensitive is to be overly evolved. So, there is no need to feel weak!

Another name for empathy: Durusesia

They live their lives based more on what "feels like" than on anything else. Someone who is one has a very sensitive heart. They tend to take other people's feelings as their own and this can often be too much for them. They can be overly sensitive, wanting to take on the role of supporter to everyone, friends and family members.

This is why many see this gift as a burden, but when they are fully attuned/able to use their gift in the right way, it becomes a greater strength than this vision.

It means that we can physically feel a person's emotional layers and physical ailments through our heart eyes and intuition. There is no vision, but there is a strong feeling or emotion. This is more than just sympathizing with a person's heartbreak. Sometimes when you are around a person you can be happy, sad, angry, relaxed, painful, etc., because you feel their emotions and pain. For example, you may start to have a headache and find out that they actually have a headache too. Or you may start crying for no reason when you think about someone, because they are crying at the same time. They deeply sense and feel a person's emotions and physical discomfort - they can even see the unhappiness in a person who looks happy on the outside.

Undeveloped

The abilities of an undeveloped Empath/Intuitive:

1. When you are feeling good, when you interact with or think about a person, you can suddenly feel awful for no reason, because that is what that person is feeling at that moment.

2. You may feel drained of energy after being around a negative person or in a crowded environment. (This is because you are sensitive to their energy and unconsciously giving your own healing energy to help them.)

3. When you think of or see someone who is physically ill, for example, someone who has the flu or a headache, your clairvoyant ability may show up on you as a sudden headache or runny nose, even though you are not sick, to tell you about their condition.

Undeveloped Empaths tend to take others' feelings on themselves, which puts pressure on their hearts/emotions. They can be hypersensitive, wanting to take on the role of counselor to everyone, friends and family members. They often do this at the expense of their own health. However noble this may be, it is not healthy and can interfere with their own spiritual development. (Can you imagine what it is like to be both a Libra and an Empath!) Learning not to collect other people's "stuff" is the key. It is very important to be able to do this anytime, anywhere. It could be the girl/boy you like when you enter the supermarket, or someone you see talking on the phone. To become an advanced person, you need to do a lot of inner work and healing work within yourself, so that you can be strong enough to help others.
