Rambutan season is here!

Have you ever eaten rambutan?

Is you are not from the Philippines, you might not have.

It's rambutan season in the Philippines and it's a blessing for all of us. A kilo of rambutan has lowered tp 12/kilo if you are the ones to harvest them fromthr trees and the price ranges from 15-25 per kilo when sold by merchants.

Today, I and my husband along with our son had an opportunity to harvest rambutan from the trees and satisfy our cravings.

When you are at the tree, you can eat rambutan unlimited! And all you had to pay are the ones you are going to bring outside the orchard.

I don't know whether these fruits are brought to Luzon, and maybe the price will triple or quadruple but here in Bukidnon, we have plenty!

The branches evwn lowered themselves because the fruits are so heavy

Fruits vary from sour to sweet, and one can always choose what to buy.

Today, we bought from a friend and we had a littlwe too much, honestly. Our money is only 100 pesos bit we brought home full 25kilo sack of rambutan and we gave it to the whole family.

These were bought by another customer.

It has a downside though, it has high uric acid content which is probably to trigger arthritis and gout pains.

When we got home, the daughters were very happy and spent time eating them. What a bounty from up High!
