Hello read.cash friends, how are you all?
So I have stumbled upon a weird phrase one day, and it's loyal vs faithful.
In the two, which one do you think are you in love?
Let's take a look at the meaning of the words.
Loyal
giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution.
Faithful
remaining loyal and steadfast.
Above are the meaning of the two words which I do not know how to copy the link, and I'm sorry for that. The source for this is Oxford Languages, Im sorry I can't copy the link.
"men are loyal, but not faithful"
I heard some oje said it before.
An explanation is that men, especially when already married, can well, go to some women without the wife's knowledge( of course who would tell thier wives about this?). And this is applicable to women too, especially now that gadgets is wide-spread and communication is easier that before.
Tempations are strong and not only men can be tempted, women can too and it depends on how faithful you are to your spouse, even if not married.
For me, loyalty is never different from being faithful, only that you can be loyal in just a short period of time, but being faithful is takes longer, a lifetime maybe because faithfulness is associated in religion and God.
So I have come to know some people who are loyal to thier spouse for a short period of time though they love him/her, just was being tempted by lust and broke thier family because of this.
There is a a man I knew, his father had another woman bear a son. His parents didn't separate at that time but the woman was badly hurt and that she nags it whenever she gets jealous over her husband.
Seeing what happened to his parents, he vowed to him self that he will never ever do it when its time for him to have his own family but he ate his words when he got tempted and had another woman in his life. The woman knew that he already had a family and is married but she stayed and even wanted a child from him.
There was even a time that he purposedly broke his phone so he will not be caught by his wife on the texts of the woman. But the good thing is that he escaped it, wa sover with the woman and was able to continue his life with his family.
This is all I caught on what someone related to me, and he himself said the he is loyal but now faithful. Now he fears God and would do anything so it will never happen again.
There are many similar stories to this one and I bet you know someone who had come short of the loyalty to thier loves ones. Its hard when you get caught on the same trap that life has, there are many things that would be at risk especially the kids, they are the ones that would be affected most and such things will affect them psychologically. And doing such is a sin too.
In conclusion, men and women can be loyal to thier loved ones. Love is not about seeing someone better that your spouse or partners, someone can ways be younger, someone can always be prettier, or smarter, and wealther, its up to us to discipline ourselves and commit to our spouse and especially to God and fear to do sin.
So here a good thing that I heard: fear God, not your wife. In this case, you will fear to do bad things even if your spouse is not around.
So where in the two is you?
Even if I don't really love my husband that much but I stay loyal and faithful to him no matter what happen.
