Ice cream now pulubi later

Everything is expensive these days and most of the income stayed the same yet we couldn't deny that as humans, we had our cravings. It's a pleasure we enjoy, a self reward for our hardwork and dedication as well as a celebration for being our own warrior and savior in tough times which only we know we were going through.

I earn a fair amount, honestly a bit higher than the minimum wage earners, but I still think buying a liter of icecream is a good idea. My salary had been budgeted and every penny is allocated to something. The husband and I decided we invest, we dream big today when our kids are still young when their studies still don't require huge amounts.

For me, ice cream now, pulubi later. That's my mindset because I don't have anyone to run to whenever I got short on my budget. Also, when I take credit, paying it later will be a huge hasttle because it would mean the budget had to be cut off to pay for the loan.

Most of the time whenever I go to the canteen, I would notice people having soda drinks on lunch and snacks, and it kept me wondering whether their income would still be sufficient for their family and the lifestyle they had.
