in a scholarship to take MBA in

USA.Therefore he take his job

offer and became an executive

assistantofpresidentatPhinma

for 6 years. After his life in

Phinma,hetookanotherjobinthe

Bancom Internationala Philippine

investment bank based in Hong

Kong.Becauseofhisexperiencein

finance,hedecidedtojointventure

in another investment bank,the

AmericanExpress.

In1981afterhisfouryearsin

workingforAMEX,hefoundedthe

FirstPacificinHongKongithasa

whopping of5 billion dollars and

60,000 work forces alloverthe

region.

After22yearsofworkingabroad,

Pangilinan came back to the

Philippines determined to enforce

the badly needed changes in

PhilippineLongDistanceTelephone

Company (PLDT). At present,
