Hi guys! Sharing you my recent trip with my family :)

Baguio, a city blessed with a beautiful natural environment and a cool climate. It is more than just a summer destination because you can also are the city's culture with their historical sculptures, clothing, culinary foods and others. Every spots are very Instagram worthy and it is a really must visit place.

Last week we went to Baguio for a one day trip, it is known for being the summer capital of the Philippines. We explore different places such as; Mines View, Whright Park, and Botanical Garden. We ride a jeepney as it's a cheaper way to get around our destination and walk by foot as some of it is walking distance. While walking around, the cold breeze will touch your face and pine trees were like waving at you. It is a peaceful place wherein you can really relax and free your mind.

Here are some of attraction in the City

Strawberry Taho

Baguio is famous for their Strawberries and other other delicacies made from it. So we bought "strawberry taho, its very sweet but delicious. We also bought some ripe strawberries for "pasalubong" because there are also a lot of shops selling souvenirs nearby.

Mines View

It is a well-known tourist destination, it has a view of the town of Itogon's copper and gold mines below. The overlook is a great place to see the City. But, it isn't particularly spacious, therefore it can get crowded there. Actually we patiently waited for our turn to take picture because there's really a lot of people there. Another, the St. Bernard that so adorable and cute, you will not waste your chance to had a photo with the dog.

Pinapaitan & Pork Adobo

Before we go to our next destination, we filled our stomach with these tasty foods. We ordered "pinapaitan", a Ilocano soup dish made from the internal organs of cows and "pork adobo", a dish compose of pork slices with soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic. I forgot the name the place but the prices of their foods are very affordable and good for families.

Whright Park

Horse back riding is popular activity you can try in this place, you can rent it minutes depending on your negotiation with the owner of the horse.

The Mansion

All I know about this place is that it is the official summer palace of the President of the Philippines. We're just taking pictures outside because people are not allowed to come in and the access are limited.

Botanical Garden

It is another well-liked tourist attraction in the city and is located along Leonard Wood Road between Wright Park and Teachers' Camp. It's a nice area to unwind and be surrounded by greenery and trees. Expect to stroll a little bit because this area is also quite large. Thereโ€™s a numerous vibrant flowers, pine trees and statues reflecting the various rites of the Cordillera tribes in the area.

Hope you enjoy reading it!
