Recently I did a tour of Patagonia in Microsoft Flight sim 2020( travel sim to me ) and now I want to share this incredible area with you. In case you are not really sure where Patagonia is then its a southern part of South America, which means southern Argentina and Chile. This is a sparsely populated area and there are no big cities in this huge area. The western part of Patagonia is very mountainous and has some exceptional untouched natural beauty, which you are about to see. Of course, I took many shots along the way in camera mode.

I started my journey from a small airport in southern Argentina, near lake Fagnano.

From there I started to make my way to the north, mostly through the very mountainous areas.

I wish I could give you the location of every place where I took a shot but most of these places are not indicated with names plus I dont know exactly where I took each shot.

Soon I started to come across with Glaciers, this is near a Mount Darwin in Chile

I so would love to hike these areas in real life but it seems, most of these places are totally inaccessible because there are no roads to take you there plus it would be a treacherous hike which seems a survival to me. So these are places I don't probably never be able to see in real life and you probably as well. Even google has no photos of most of these places because no one really goes to these locations.

For this trip, I used a Cub Crafter X Cub aircraft. A pretty slow one but I didn't mind, left me with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.

A more flat area of Parrillar Laguna National Reserve in Chile

From this point on, I pretty much flew along the Argentinan and Chile border. Below you can see a blue glacial lake and a snowy Cerro Balmaceda mountain in the distance, Chile.

Somewhere in Torres del Paine National Park, Chile. Amazing beauty to be seen there.

I found some rock formations. These are formed by glaciers that once moved there but retreated over time, exposing some of this glacier-carved rock floors.

Flying up the glaciers.

Now this is taken at lower altitudes next to lake Argentina, obviously located in Argentina 😀. There was even some civilization in the area.

A small village El Chalten in Argentina.

A valley, probably in Argentina but I'm not entirely sure where this is taken. I failed to recognize the place in google maps.

Lake O'Higgins, view to Chile but im Flying in Argentina, exactly on the border.

The last shot is taken again, exactly on the border. Taken standing on the 3300m high mountain of San Lorenzo, looking down on the glaciers. View direction Argentina.

Soon after that, I finished my trip on the nearby small airfield. I fully enjoyed every minute of this 10 hours long Journey. I will definitely fly there again because I only scratched a surface of Patagonia. I hope you enjoyed seeing these photos of places you don't even find from the internet, let alone see in real life because I'm 99.9% sure you never go to these really remote places.
