There is a quote saying "Don't judge the book by its cover" because each of us tends to see the outside features of one another. And how about the inner soul and inner beauty? the hidden talents that can make difference and worth it to share with everyone?. Remember that in science, the tiniest matter matters in producing electricity. There were times that we see other people mistakes, the color of the skin, we wonder on each other faces and the benefactor is how social media influences the way we think.
Discrimination and bullying breaks the essence of unity. People influences by their status on the society like the way they look and speak. Others tend to get envy to some that have a good life so that having a crab mentality will arise to be able to get what they want. They will not be contented.
Some are not aware of other people’s life because they living a privilege life during this pandemic. They post in social media on how they live to the fullest of their life because they have internet connection, food to brag and others that will make the poor to be little of themselves and cannot afford to get that kind of treatment because they lack of resources. If we are humble enough to give, and to feel of other might think of us maybe we can make a difference. The unity will start there.
But we always remember if we think as one, like no matter we see, we look and we stand, we should have unity in diversity.
Despite the differences, we should never forget the values that we have learned from our ancestors such as to love, to care and most important is to unite in all aspects of diversity.
