The following are structures so beautifully crafted that removing them altogether would make Earth the ugliest planet instantly. So put yourself in the position of the leader of an alien race who's about to conquer and destroy this dear planet of ours. Which of the following landmarks would you destroy first?

Statue of Liberty

Crafted and designed as a robed female Roman goddess, it is the largest human statue in the United States and one of the biggest of its kind in the whole world. Towering at 151 feet in one of the most populated cities on Earth, it would surely attract extraterrestrials. Because it is after the image of the feminine gender that has caused great pain to the masculine ones, aliens would most certainly choose to destroy it right upon their arrival

Location: Liberty Island Manhattan, New York City, United States

Year Built: 1886

Rushmore Faces

Proudly advertising the four faces of great men that once led the most powerful nation in the world, they would easily catch the attention of aliens and would probably agitate them. Because they are made of granite, they would be quite hard to crack and smash, but with advanced weaponry, it would be a piece of cake for visiting aliens.

Location: Pennington County, South Dakota, United States

Year Built: 1927

Stonehenge

Believe by some new-agers to be a contact-zone for visitors from other planets, this prehistoric monument could be preserved by an alien race instead of destroying it. That would be the case if, the heirs of the real alien architects were the ones to get here first. However, if other races would find it before them, they would choose to demolish it to prevent other looters from locating gorgeous Earth, halting them from claiming its goodies.

Location: Wiltshire, England

Year Built: 3000 - 2000 BC

Taj Mahal

Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces,” it could easily get noticed like any other jewel landmark. But what could make aliens (albeit the slave-sympathetic ones) destroy it are the rumors that Shan Jahan, the emperor who commissioned to build it as a tomb for his favorite wife, was said to have inflicted torture and manipulations on some architects and engineers so it can be built.

Location: Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India

Year Built: 1648

Eiffel Tower

Standing at 1,063 ft. tall, it is the second-tallest structure in France and has been the country's primary cultural Symbol. Equipped with restaurants on its first 2 levels and an observational deck on the third, it is reportedly ascended by an average of 25,000 people a day. With a structure very similar to a standard antenna, the Eiffel Tower can be easily spotted, and destroyed by other world conquerors.

Location: Paris, France

Year Built: 1887

Giza Pyramid

Many engineers today consider this Egyptian marvel as a structure so advanced in its time that some of them actually believe the Giza Pyramid to be derived and built from an alien technology adapted by humans. If this is the case, then the original alien designers would be angered by this thievery and destroy the stolen work of art.

Location: El Giza, Egypt

Year Built: 2580–2560 BC

Great Wall of China

Of all the walls ever built my men, nothing is greater or just as great as this legendary wall. Falsely believed to be visible from the moon with the naked eye, advanced alien races would have no problem spotting this 5,500.3-mile long barricade countless of light-years away, and use their ultra-powerful ray beams to zap it into oblivion.

Location: China (northern borders)

Year Built: 221–206 BC

Roman Colosseum

In the time of its construction, gladiatorial matches were commonplace that's why it easily became one of the most visited places in Italy even to this day. Estimated to accommodate as much as 50,000 to 80,000 spectators who enjoy warriors butchering each-other, it would make aliens spit on us in disgust – we refuse to be conquered and destroyed by them yet we've always been busy destroying ourselves since the ancient times.

Location: Rome, Italy

Year Built: 70–80 AD

Leaning Tower of Pisa

“It doesn't want to stand anymore, so why let it suffer?,” this would be the comment of aliens (if they can speak English) upon seeing this weirdly erected structure. Now leaning at 3.99 degrees, beings from other worlds would make this as target practice so they can as well, finish the job that nature has started upon the first moments of this tower's construction.

Location: Pisa, Italy

Year Built: 1173

Petronas Towers

One of the most distinguishing landmarks in Asia, and now the tallest twin towers in the world– these are what easily describes the Petronas Towers. Generations younger than the other great landmarks on Earth, they could be deemed as a trying-hard, world-wonder wannabe considering that the others on this list are hundreds or thousands of years older... and for that reason, it has to be destroyed by aliens.

Location: Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Year Built: 1993

Which among these would be most likely destroyed by aliens?
